I don't see anyone seething. Lots of players have already achieved similar progress or better before Tyler1 did it. Remember that 1900 is still far below master, and chess improvement is easy at the amateur level. It's at the master and grandmaster levels where progress up the ranks starts to get hard. The same is true of many games, such as go/weiqi/baduk, shogi, bridge, etc.

He's a patient observer and he's commited. He favors having a bad plan over executing anything without one at all and he's a strong advocate for synergy and team play, even tho it might not seem like that at a first glance.

Because if they are similar rating to me, but I play real openings and they don't, that means they are making up the difference somewhere. So they're probably a tactical monster, have really strong positional play, are good at endgames, etc. In Tylers case, he likely has very strong tactical play because you know, HE'S PLAYED OVER 20K PUZZLES IN A YEAR OH MY GOD.

Imho, the meme opening is key to his success, in contrast to what you are implying. Couple that with a time format where the opponent doesn't get time to properly think and you have a serious advantage.

The most amazing thing about all of this is Tyler said on stream that he has no clue who Anna Cramling is. Now, if that is true, it means one of two things: 1) Like Hikaru, he knew about this opening from an obscure historical source before Anna popularized it in modern times. 2) He came up with this opening himself. So, his brain is functioning at a 2000+ level well before he ever crossed 1000 and it’s just a matter of time before his rating catches up.
