Like Charlie said, I'm more upset at my dad for being so gullible for a man that spouts nothing but horseshit. This is legitmately the problem with our media today where people just want to believe anything that they want to hear that sounds remotely "intelligent" and they refuse to think outside the box. 4:01 okay Charlie is wrong about his cup. because by his calculation, if i cut his cup in half, i would get 2 times 0.5 cup right? but when you put 2 of those 0.5 cups in a box and ship it to the customer, the customer would return the box saying there is a broken cup inside and he wants refund. so in a way, i just proved that the sum of 2 parts is less than the whole, no...the sum of 2 parts equal 0.

    Well when dealing with anyone you have to question the things they do. I heard of this guy that would carry cigarettes in his shirt pocket even though he’s never smoked them to test the doctor. They all kept telling him “it’s from smoking” in response to any medical condition he had. Oh yeah and then there’s Covid and how much they manipulated the numbers on that

  • @Boneless_Wolf

    @Boneless_Wolf

    Күн бұрын

    @@slikrik3958it's not a matter of manipulating numbers. Reaching an accurate diagnosis isn't as simple as asking the patient for a laundry list of symptoms and plugging them into WebMD, you're making an educated guess based on the data you have on those symptoms, how they're affecting the patient physically and/or mentally, etc It's basically a mix between knowing what can cause the symptoms and the statistics behind them. If someone shows up with a pack of cigarettes and gets a lung cancer diagnosis, your educated guess is probably gonna link those two together at first. That's why it's good to get second opinions, being a medical professional doesn't mean you have all the answers, you could miss something and end up with a wrong diagnosis. However, that doesn't invalidate the fact that despite those possible mistakes, medical professionals are still the best way you have of finding out if you have a condition or what it is

You look just like them to people who know better whenever he gets someone like Michio Kaku to talk about fringe physics as if it were proven theories. I agree in general but there has to be some kind of limit. Sometimes people are completely detached from reality and logic to the point that they're completely and utterly wrong. I'm happy to listen to my conspiracy theorist friends or get high and talk about strange concepts BUT this is ludicrous and wrong. I know, I know... either all ideas are worthy of being entertained or you're not being open and challenging yourself. BUT let me ask you this, are there *any* opinions, ideas or beliefs you simply would not entertain no matter what proof the person wanted to try to provide. I would be stunned if you said you were willing to genuinely entertain any idea no matter how ridiculous or terrible. Sometimes people need to be told they're an idiot and have issues.

    i can see how people actually believe 1*1=2. Multiplication is something that can't really be done physically, or else that'd be counting. sure, 1*1=2 in your mental math, simply because you're giving pure numbers and it multiplies. however, if you think a bit more abstract and logical, it'd be 1*1=1 by using grid lines example. This is a mental math crisis, not because math itself is wrong

He has 97 patents and invented augmented reality which was taken by 11 major tech companies including google and apple for their own products which is now worth billions of dollars and he still holds the intial license of it. He has an IQ over 140 and he doesn't dispute the way people do things now as being completely incorrect. He said that science is missing the full picture in which his theory is that he looks at each periodic element on the elemental table and each one has a unique sound that transitions into one another. With his theory he was capable of recreating saturn with no gravity using the same applied physics applications used by physicists today. He also was able to explain how specific chemicals interact with each other and breakdown via sound and proved that sound can change/disrupt your dna via vibrations or frequencies of specific key notes which are found in nature and in every element on the periodic table but hey man, uh, sick click bait title, keep eating up Joe's crumbs.

    @@thee-influence I'm not a math guy by any means, but I am intelligent enough to understand the fundamental difference between adding and multiplying. Multiplying is just a different method/equation to make addition faster. If I have zero apples and multiply by 1, how do I obtain an apple here? I have zero apples. You follow? We aren't just spawning numbers into existence. The math has to follow the equation in order to be solved properly. Obviously if I have zero apples and then I add one apple, I now have an apple. Gain a few more, and I can start multiplying them. *"Multiplication is a mathematical operation that takes two numbers and gives an answer equal to the sum of a column containing one of the numbers repeated the number of times of the other number."* The key here is where it says, "equal to the sum" of one of the columns. If one column has a sum of one, anything multiplied by it will be the same number. If your initial sum is only one, then there is nothing to "repeat". You've just got the one apple. Make sense? Like I said, I'm seriously not a math guy, but this makes absolutely perfect sense to me. Dude is simply wrong on this.
