I'd have to see more of the car, but it sounds like a reasonable price considering the rust, and other repairs it might need. The kid obviously has a passion for the car, and would take great care of it. That would mean more to me, than someone paying more, and parting it out. 🤷‍♀️

I didn't hear wether or not the engine turns or starts or if it's locked up or is the car is complete. I'd say 35 is a good starting point if not a bit generous. But in the end an owner can ask whatever they want. I'm curious if the young man bought it. I hate to see old cars just sit and rust away in someone's driveway.

If I could actually see the car looks like my car 69 same car for the most part. I get a lot of 4 door hate. But better 4 than none. Plus it's a hard top best4 door to have. But they don't bring a lot of cash. But people have offered me 10k+. I've had it 30yrs. I'll never sell it

The kid wants to be seen in it. Flippers suck and are figuring out they suck. Not many cars to flip anymore. Prices of restoring cars are through the roof, it don't pay. Rat rods are popular because of this. Buying a restored car is far cheaper than trying it yourself. I'm a bodyman.

I’d give 3500 tops unfortunately cars this age are bound to have expensive and extensive repairs unless they’ve been modernized/ over hauled at one point Beyond the motor the structure will rust the wiring will have to be replaced lots of small things will fall apart and require to be repaired As cool as old cars are they absolutely are money pits to drive
