Can You Drive On Stone Wheels?
Ғылым және технология
I made tires out of stone and put them on a car. But will they work? I also made concrete tires and asphalt tires to see how those did.

Ok, next time, make a proper concrete wheel set, all 4, balance them perfectly, watercut them properly into a round shape and use those... And add more armature just for safety... With them balanced well, you are likely to overdo it, so it`s better that they be reinforced af... I would also consider adding some abrasive grit into the concrete, mix in some of the used up granite... It ought to add some friction to the ``wheel``...

Should’ve collaborated with primitive technology He can make almost anything out of stones
This reminded me of an episode of Darkwing Duck. They went to the past, and the Dinos had cars with stone wheels, while the roads were made of rubber and inflated. And There Buildings moved up and down instead of the elevator.
I thought asphalt wheels was a dumb ideia at the beginning, but in the end I realized it was planned 😂😂😂

Reminds me of when Mythbusters tested using logs to make wheels, which actually worked if careful, and worked even better on dirt roads. I could see the concrete version working well in some hypothetical apocalypse type scenario.

This entire segment is filled with the anxiety of wondering if they ended up with a lawsuit from chipped stone, asphalt or concrete flying off at 60mph or a fine/charge for vandalism putting even more potholes into public roads. The premise is interesting and entertaining don’t get me wrong but I get the sense we could all be watching this video for a different reason in an alternate universe.
I haven't clicked on a waterjet channel vid in a while and the fact that i clicked on this one for the title 🤝
Remember the carbon fiber wheels? " Careful... careful... *CAR FALLS OFF JACK*"
I would like to see a Waterjet Channel "Alright" supercut one day
TBF, the Flintstone's wheels were rollers that probably weighed several tons each and might work better on roads when pavement hadn't been invented yet.
@8:36; "Uh... No officer, we're not laying drag... it's concrete. " X'D
"By the way, for anyone who's new around here, "crete" is short for concrete. I'm just using slang."
Fun fact: Concrete is just aggregate held together by a binder, to you really just made two concrete wheeles.
I appreciate the balls it takes to answer the question from the title in the first three seconds of the video and then just count on people still being interested in how you got to that point.
"Jesus what happened to our parking lot?? Looks likes some idiot with damn *rocks* for tires did donuts!" "Ok so funny story..."
Love it. Peak chaos. I vote revisit this with all concrete tires

Simple to maintain and repair, around 30 miles per gallon, set of tires back then cost me probably about $100.00. I would like to find another as a beater project. Off to bring a trailer I go.
