Can You Drive On Stone Wheels?

Ғылым және технология

I made tires out of stone and put them on a car. But will they work? I also made concrete tires and asphalt tires to see how those did.

Ok, next time, make a proper concrete wheel set, all 4, balance them perfectly, watercut them properly into a round shape and use those... And add more armature just for safety... With them balanced well, you are likely to overdo it, so it`s better that they be reinforced af... I would also consider adding some abrasive grit into the concrete, mix in some of the used up granite... It ought to add some friction to the ``wheel``...

My first car was a 1970 Pinto coupe. I got it around 1980 and had to rebuild the engine. Four speed manual. I had about $400.00 in it. (rebuilt the engine myself) What a fun car. Simple to maintain and repair, around 30 miles per gallon, set of tires back then cost me probably about $100.00. I would like to find another as a beater project. Off to bring a trailer I go.
