"The Hardline According to" is easily a legendary album. There are no skip worthy tracks on it. Each one iconic and incredible. It's rare an artist with so little industry push gets it right on every track in a record, but he did in 1987, its definitely a 10/10/

I’ve been following music for many many years, He is one of the greatest musical artists the world has ever seen no doubt.

@@Luv_2P He was kind of known among some journalists during 80s and early 90s to be someone who when started talking in magazine interviews would not shut up about himself. He could refer to himself in third person, declare himself a genius and hold long introspective monologues about a subject with a careless sort of confidence about him that evidently seemed to have rubbed people the wrong way. That's not to say that everyone perceived him this way. Terence/Sananda has also said later that there was an irony with much of his boastful talk but that it came out wrong on print. I think Terence maybe was slightly out of touch with social norms but I shouldn't pretend I know the guy. I love his music to this day and am inspired by his vocals and poetic and philosophical lyricism.

A very beautiful song and a legendary vocalist! I've been an admirer since 1988

TTD, you never got your due and the respect you deserve. A lot of these neo soul dudes need to send you a royalty check for Father's Day for helping to birth their style.

Ahh, my muse. Words are not adequate to express what this man and his music meant/means to me. I loved him as TTD, but gained a greater love and so much respect and admiration for him with his metamorphosis into Sananda Maitreya... What insight into self, what integrity to do what it took to honour his creativity and stay true to all that stirred his soul. Bless him.

I was sitting on my bed and I was listening to your song Holding on to you and all of a sudden I hear thump thump but it was almost quiet and I looked down and it was my tears hitting my comfetor and I only had that happen to me one other time in my life and it was when my sister passed April 17, 2016. I have felt like everything is loud to me. I looked at some of your interviews and I was able to calm down when I listened to you. I was thinking about your voice when you talk and it requires others to come down and listen and able to hear the message you want to express. The voice is small but the words are immaculate and we will never touch the end of then because they are infinite. We all need forever.

Best version I’ve heard of this song it’s a tear jerker for sure , he sings the hell out of it too😢

He still has the voice even to this day in 2024 and the music industry has abandoned him. He had more range than most then and now. Cannot understand the reason bands do not offer him a spot to sing. INXS needed to pick him up for the long haul.
