@George Ibrahim....As George Michael told the audience when performing Sanandas' song Let Her Down Easy: Terence Trent D'Arby is the most underrated singer/songwriters of our time. I have to agree...

This guy should've been up there with Prince and Michael Jackson but he chose to remove himself from the spot light. He gets you with the vocals...

He went through some distress due to his experience with the music biz and fell back for a long stretch before eventually reemerging under the name SANANDA MAITREYA.

Thank you for saying this. This is exactly right, and people kind of lie about him, saying that he fell off. No, he kept on being an incredibly creative artist.

You are just beautiful, I needed to point that out first; I mean stunning beauty and then this depth that you bestow in your heart and inner soul. I just subscribed because of that in you. Secondly, thank you for your authentic reaction; like the artist, you moved me. He walked away from the Holkyweird music industry because he wasn't allowed the freedom to do and make his music. Made his own music label and although not as famous as these musicians in the Hollywood music industry he said it was the best decision he ever made. The pure fact that was able to have the liberty to create and perform his musical artistry just points out that unlike so many in the Hollywood music industry who have sold their soul to the devil, so to speak he became the artist he desired to always be. He's extremely spiritual and has also changed his name to Sanada M....; married to an Italian woman, lives in Italy and has children. Still creates, and writes all of his music and tours. Very successful either way. Check out an interview of him that he gave about why he walked away from Hollywood and who is is as a man today. He is such a beautiful soul and beyond humble. Hollywood would have stripped all of that away from him had he stayed and this song would never have spawned. Thank God he left, mostly for himself and us. He's phenomenal. I've followed him for years after he walked away from all the BS in Hollywood and he's truly, truly happier for it. Good on him. 🇦🇺💖💖💖. The part of the song where he is about to cry comes from a place within him about his biological dad who was in fact a really horrible father to him. Where he adds that part of him in his song, is actually not on the album at all. It represents the wishful thinking that he hoped and wanted his father to be. But he was the complete opposite. Just thought you'd like to know. 😇

I have several of his CD's and I have the DVD of his 1987 concert in Germany that I've watched too many times to count. I hope you can react to a song from that DVD, his rendition of "Who's Loving You" In Concert: Ohn Filter, one of the best vocal performances I've ever seen and heard! Make sure it's the live in concert: ohn filter version. That's how it's called. You won't be disappointed, I promise! 💃🎵🎸

This is one of my favorite artists of all time. He gets overlooked so much. Thank you so much for doing this. I think every reaction on KZread except for this one and one other I have recommended to people because I love it so much. So whoever recommended it, thank you thank you thank you. And if anyone is interested, this is the best interview I’ve ever heard on this guy. He’s a fantastic dude and amazingly creative artist. kzread.info/dash/bejne/qHWmo6tuhrW0ZqQ.html

You've found my favorite singer in the world tied with Elvis Presley. But for me, Terence/Sananda Maitreya, the name he goes by now, has the best voice ever. I know that's subjective according to personal taste, but there are only 2 singers that I could happily listen to them singing the phone book and he's one of them. And like my other favorite, not hard to look at either! 🤪

Did you ever stop to think that both he and Elvis have similar eyes? It’s well known that people who have eyes like theirs (where you can see the whites of their eyes between their lower lid and iris) are tapped into intuition and empathy and are very empathic and spiritual. Michael Jackson and Princess Diana had those types as well….
