A remarkable man, such a likeable character. Thank you for bringing this to us.
What a great interview, lovely modest chap, could listen to him for hours. Thanks for keeping the memories alive.
Nice modest gentleman
I met Roger Hymans 40 odd years ago ( jeez, that can't be right!) when he was on a ground tour at Marham. It was my first posting as LAC Nobody but what a complete Gent he was then and hasn't changed a bit. So modest about his career and achievements that it was only years later that I found out he had been with the Black Arrows. A top man.
Not even a full-time aerobatic team! Fantastic days of British Aviation! I could listen to veteran flyers like Roger all day. Many thanks. 👍🏻
What an incredible life, amazing experiences at particularly interesting times. At all times enjoying himself
What a humble,lovely man.Must have been good to work for.Great interview,thanks.

Well worth the wait to have the full interview. He's had a fantastic career and life and it was very nice of him to share what he has with us. These older pilots have always got great stories to tell, and he wasn't even finished!

What a lovely man brought a smile to my face the whole interview. Thank you 😊
Excellent interview, what a lovely and humble bloke
Came to listen to a nice old guy tell a tale or two, left in awe of him. Cheers. Edit because I didn't like the word a correct one but not one I was happy with.
There we have a class act of the highest degree!
Massive respect Rodger. Had one happy flight aged 19 in a Hunter out of Sharjah in 1970.

This one flight made me determined to learn to fly, and I did, got my wings in 1973. Would love to know who the pilot was in 1970.
What amazing recall.
I meet peter latham many times such a great person to all 111 Squadron blue skies soft landings
How many rules would have to be broken to get 22 Typhoons to loop at 200ft today? Another great interview!

When we had an Air Force!!
Nice looking plane.
We lived in North Weald in the late fifties and as a very young lad I recall my Dad and I encountering a funeral procession that I believe was the result of a Black Arrows practice crash.
Anyone know Edward (Ted) Skinner RAF Rtd Whow! massive respect.
Imagine the skill of the typical RAF pilot in those days if anyone could request posting to 111 Squadron. Impressive.
Is there any footage of the Black Arrows ?
