As a young lad in the 60s, I remember seeing the Black Arrows display team perform at the Denham airshow in Bucks. Denham is a private airfield not far from Heathrow. They were absolutely brilliant, it was a fabulous display! That was my first experience, of watching RAF Hawker Hunter jets, flying at an airshow. They were great times for sure.👍

Excellent video. The Hawker Hunter was a stunning looking aircraft, especially in the black livery.

Served with “tremblers” at RAF Wattisham mid 70’s. They were on lightnings by then alongside 29 Sydney. Actually met the pilot who regionally flew the Spitfire by the camp gates as he was still stationed there

The squadron leader Peter Latham was my grandad, sadly he passed away aged 91 in 2016...he lived a very full life!
