You didn't hear a word he said. Are we near top 4? Are we challenging for any titles and don't tell me we beating City in a final. You expecting them to be that off for us to get that lucky. You are clearly one of these fans that's accepting of mediocre standards then. You can be critical of Ten Hag without being Ten Hag OUT. I don't see how his tactics play out. As a Manchester United fan I'm happy some fans are coming to the reality of how the club is. This is 2024 and not 2008. We have seen this all in the past by trying to escape reality by changing new managers, signing big name players but we just finish between 6th to 2nd every season. We're in a deep transition. It's painful. It's heartbreaking and sad. But we can never buy glory. Transitions end. INEOS is here with us. Let's see how they will deal with the football structure. As for Erik Ten Hag. I'm a Erik Ten Hag In all through and through. Next season is his final season with Manchester United. Judge him after that. If he falls short he will leave after the expiry of his contract. If he succeeds give him a new contract. I can't blame him for our woes. He will be sacked and another manager will come and the same issues that faced LVG, Jose Mourinho and Ole and are currently facing ETH will face the next manager.

he needs to go, or the club need to tell him to take a different direction tactically. He's setting the team up to play only on transitions (trying to force them), even when we are winning they still use that tactic and it's horrible as it allows an open midfield. It is tactically different than last year which was still reliant on transitions but had more work on the other phases of play. He has had the option to change the tactics all season and hasn't. If we can't play the current style due to injuries then why not adapt a different style? What's wrong with trying a 442? I get the feeling he promised a "united style of play" yet doesn't have the team to achieve it. So why is he trying to force it? Traditionally since SAF the players would eventually fall out with the manager and stop playing for him. This hasn't happened this time, it looks like they are still playing for him. So sacking him wouldn't be "giving the players what they want" or "players win again" as it doesn't look like that's what they want. He is simply setting the team up to fail with his current choices. He truly believes it is fun to watch for fans. He needs to stop being so dogmatic and make practical tactical changes that we know he can do. I don't know whether he's being told he has to play this way or he is just stubborn. He will likely be gone at the end of the season anyway and he's only done it to himself so don't feel too sorry for him. I massively backed him but it's becoming toxic for the players shouldering all the blame when they are being told to play a style that leaves them wide open. When it works, it's exhilarating but most games it's simply not it.

@@wr2899 I think ETH is the opposite of dogmatic, he's pragmatic to the point of going back on what I assume was the reason he was hired. I thought he was meant to come in and bring the "Ajax style" of football that got them to the CL semi-finals. Then he loses the first couple of games last year and decides the team can't play that way and then this year says that he wants United to be the best transitional team. When he said the team can't play in that Ajax style after he bought Onana, Martinez, Anthony, Eriksen who have all played for Ajax and spent a lot of money on them too I thought he should be sacked then. Surely the point is that he was hired to replicate what he did at Ajax and it's his job to implement that. I support Spurs and Postecogleu is getting criticism now from some fans because he is seen as too dogmatic and won't change his style. At least if he does get sacked though it's because he did it his way. It seems like ETH from the first couple of loses last season decided that he'd rather hang in on the job rather than try to change United's style. At least at Spurs I can see what Postecogleu is trying to do, whether he succeeds or not is another thing, but you can at least see something forming. With United I honestly don't see what he's trying to do. I think sometimes the mark of a manager is how opposition fans see the manager. I think all neutrals will want to see ETH stay because he's not the guy to bring back success to United. It seems it's individual quality rather than any sort of system that gets United through games.

The problem with this fanbase is they've been accepting mediocrity since Ole but they levels of delusional has gone up a level with this fraud of a manager making the most excuses. So what we have had injuries it's the manager to play the ones still available and yet he doesn't play most of the players on the bench. He's a manipulative lier and he in 4k as manipulated the fanbase with these interviews and press conferences of making excuses and as bad as Ole was he never made excuses he actually accepted fault for bad performances. The question should be why isn't he starting Amad, Eriksen, Mount, Anthony, Amrabat players he bought to the club and when there have been injuries. This guy would rather play Forson over them. Why isn't no one questioning his talent ID is why he doesn't play our actual ballers and good players. His prefer 11 when everyone is fit stinks because he has favourites and none of them are good. One of the worst front 3 I've seen at United yet he plays them. Complain gin about injuries but only Shaw and Lisandro are the only ones he prefers to start. Let's not forget that this fraud said Varane and Casemiro couldn't play because of "Tactic" and "more football" with McTominay coming off the bench yet now when his job is on the line somehow Varane now can play LCB and Casemiro is now makes us play good football. Now Mainoo is suffering because of this fraud set up where now whoever plays in that 6 role gets over ran in midfield because he wants to play this 4-6 formation and yet no one knows where to be. Anyone thinks if he gets better players he will drop his favourites for them. He will stick start Shaw, Maguire, McTominay at times or off the bench, Rashford, Bruno, Hojlund and Garnacho. Those are his favourites and he won't drop them maybe Maguire but this fraud talent ID is shocking he'll buy more ex Ajax players
