Sadly, our past is being taken down, history books being rewritten, schools, buildings and street names being changed. Seems some want to glorify people that have done nothing with their lives and contributed nothing to this great nation we call America. It breaks my heart and I feel sad for my children and grandchildren that will be living in a different America than I knew. History can be ugly!, but it should never be forgotten! I loved that sign as well.

When truth is treated as a commodity to be bargained with. The end is here!!

It's like 1984. Orwell spinning in his grave. Some would like to delete our history, especially the good, as they think, no, they feel, there is no good in our country. To that I say: Let's go Brandon.

Sadly, the truth is finally being told correctly. So much was deleted from the history of this country. The history of this country tends to glorify people who didn’t contribute anything, but they stole, sold and killed ppl for their own personal gain. The individuals, who were the main factors in the growth of this country were never acknowledged. However, how could Christopher Columbus discover America when the Native American were already here. Everyone should read African American History to gain insight on blacks contributions to American history. There are many individuals on both sides that haven’t done anything with their lives. It’s really sad that correcting American history will break your heart. Some ppl just need to accept, that they had been fed lies all their life. Ignorance of the truth is ignorant.

Maybe we should put up statues to the January 6th insurrection to the Bullies, thugs and criminals that raided The American Capitol that’s about the same as the idols of the confederacy and their traitorous acts.

@@danbailey96 Why not? The 2020 presidential election was blatant election fraud to install Biden.
I've been to the Carnton House in Franklin TN. There are BLOOD STAINS still in the floor ..on the second floor. The parts - arms and legs - were thrown out the windows.
Beautiful area! Love stone building!
This place has so much energy!!
Excellent video Cliff. I've been to Gettysburg a few times, and the place just has such a feeling to it. I don't believe or disbelieve in ghosts, never seen any scientific proof, but the FEELING you get there is real. When you look out at the battlefields and imagine what it must have been like. It is a heavy feeling.
I love that saying too,and your videos !
Thank you for taking us along and teaching us some history very interesting thank you
Great video!
Wow, that was a big old barn and the house was beautiful... Thanks for sharing. Stay well and be safe.
Well said about history education!

It's probably the people who don't want to hear what he said about the "ugly" parts of American history. You know, the "America, love it or leave it crowd" who have cotton balls in their ears when anyone speaks the real truth.
Revising history is a bad idea. It should be used to teach the upcoming generations the atrocities and mistakes of the past. Unfortunately, it is also true that history is written by the victor. Nevertheless, as the saying goes "those who forget the past are doomed to repeat it"
Thank you for the video and the history lesson. May you always teach the truth, especially the ugly truth. You have a great channel.
Awesome stuff Cliff 👍
Good History. Thank you.
Great video cliff. I frequent this place. I am friends with the president of the preservation group here. I have a video on my channel of the inside of the home. There is blood stains on the floors. Inside the barn a soldier scratched his initials in the wood.
This is on my bucket list, when I'm not my husband's caretaker and I can go places, I am visiting this place, if God willing. I also want to walk the entire battlefield. Love your videos. I'm learning so much from you.. thanks!

God bless you for taking care of your husband. In this world today that is too rare. people take off when things get difficult. God bless him as well.
If you ever get a chance the Gettysburg museum of history. Is a place you have to visit. I couldn't believe all the unique items in there especially WW2.

You have a great channel you do a very nice job . Love it when you find places such as this and indeed the farm house is lovely.
A very beautiful property and very historical too, I think the owners are very gracious letting people wander around. Thank you for sharing, much love. xx 💖
Great video Cliff! What you are saying there really rings true with me …about history and learning from our past mistakes and also about it being relevant in today’s ever-darkening times too xx
Sweet old timey beard. Circa 1862.
awesome video i hope you go visit the Trostle farm while your there my family owned that back when the cannon ball hit the barn and discovered the 100+ dead houses that where left on the property crazy fact they never where compensated for the damages done during the battle
That was fantastic. Love the stone house. I agree we should remember the bad with the good coz we do tend to repeat if we don’t learn. What lovely grounds they are. Just love the history. Thanks so much. Please stay safe and take care
Fantastic content! I’m so glad you’re in Gettysburg! Such an extraordinary location. Can’t wait for the next episode.
Great video Cliff. Really enjoy how you share facts and history through your visits to various locations. You are always very informative!
Beautiful old buildings but agree about the dark energy. Gettysburg Battlefield is the only historical place I ever visited & actually felt ill under the suffocating weight of its horrific history. Also, initially, almost as many men died because of poor surgical practices than from their initial injuries. At the height of the worst battles, surgical implements were quickly passed around without being cleaned or sterilized. Fatal blood & gangrene infections rapidly spread among injured soldiers because of it.

hi Whow
Cool, thanks Cliff, always enjoy the history.
I have been to Gettysburg many times, and been to alot of places. The only place I have experience anything was at the Jenny Wade house that entity is angry not a good feeling for sure. Very heavy. I am almost willing to bet its Virginia Wade. When go back will have to visit that house again.
Good Stuff My Friend! Always enjoy seeing videos from Gettysburg. 👍👍👍

Thank you for the history, and for making sense. A rare commodity. That sign is awesome.
Thank you Cliff!
It makes me nuts when I see them put porta-a-potties right next to historic buildings, destroying the historic views of the buildings that they try so hard to preserve. They do the same thing at the Mumma farm's barn at Antietam.
Well said Cliff.
Yes, yes you can say that. Its the truth! Thanks for the tour! Very interesting!
That property is owned and operated by the American Battlefield Trust
I live just down the road from there.
I live only a few miles from here, it is a place steeped in history, it goes way beyond just The War, though that’s what’s is best known. I love your videos, and I hope you do the Cashtown Inn this week!
You are right about the lack of anesthesia during Civil War surgeries.
Thanks so much! I have never heard of this place. Is that a port a potty outside that barn? It sort of detracts from the historic nature of the place. Hopefully they get rid of that thing! Looking forward to more videos.
It also takes to Fairfield Pennsylvania on 116 outside of Gettysburg Pennsylvania and the Civil War was part of

Actually they had both chloroform and ether as full-body anaesthetic. While the Confederates didn’t have much ether, they did have a good supply of chloroform.
History is so important to remember like the saying on that sign. Unfortunately the powers that are in control of the Great Reset do not agree.
There were not 50000 dead bodies there were roughly 50000 causlities not dead that means killed wounded or missing in action
