THIS STORY:
We circle back to search for the "Jonathan House", where the apparition was seen of the boy killed by his bedroom window by lightning strike, in the late 1970's.
Found!
Then off to Long Grove Cemetery in Long Grove, Illinois.
Finally, we go to Rosehill cemetery in Chicago to see Willie Barry Culver, a boy who was lost in a steamship shipwreck, then. to the grave of Mary Shedden, poisoned by her husband, and then finally to the Rosehill mausoleum to view the Richard Warren Sears family crypt, where the developments start getting "hot".
THIS CHANNEL:
_________________________________________________________
The Angel face you see is the Haserot, named “The Angel of Death Victorious". The stoic angel is seated on the marble gravestone of canning entrepreneur Francis Haserot and his family. Holding an extinguished torch upside-down, it represents a symbol of life extinguished. Wings are outstretched and the gaze is straight ahead.
IN THE END, DEATH ALWAYS WINS. LEST THE FACES NOT BE FORGOTTEN...
This channel is focused on casually walking and viewing a handful of the thousands of forgotten names and faces at various cemeteries near and afar. Seeing their faces up close. And when able, telling the stories behind their names.
Most graves are unknown and lost to history.
Some are famous.
And some infamous....
....and some with tragic endings.

Some years ago on one of my walks I unknowingly strayed on to some private land. After some time I heard some noise on the edge of the copse and saw an elderly lady with some garden shears , I called hello and walked over to her. She was cutting the undergrowth off of some headstones on a large plot of land, I asked if I could help and spent some time clearing the area and she told me it was a family plot but her family had just left her to it. She showed me her house ( not a mansion ) and her family history. I asked jokingly if it was haunted and said the only thing that I would find frightening would be the Vultures at her home when she died. She is long gone now but I still go back once a year to clean up, but the owners of the house said that they were unaware of the plot. Strange how people never know what they are buying.

I'm definitely going to watch the video next where you saw the apparition. I'm about your age, and I saw my first apparition when I was a young child. My parents just bought the house from a woman whose husband died there I think of cancer. I saw him in my room, he was in his suit he was buried in. He died rather young and left a very young daughter. I didn't know anything about it at that age. I was shown a picture of him later and it was the same man. Also, had dreams as a young child of people who I never knew died before I was born. And again, pictures showed it was the same people. Fast forward to now, I have seen and experienced apparitions in my house. There are at least two male and female. My husband who never believed before has also experienced it. I found the people who used to live here 50 years ago, their family. Turns out they've also had experiences. It's not scary, but there's definitely a couple of spirits who want attention lol.

My cousin from Australia visited America for the first time and we went across America to Yellowstone national park and back passing through some of Illinois but not Chicago last year. It was nice to see parts of Missouri again that I have not seen since the late 1980s. When visiting st. Charles and st.louis but that is as close as we came to Chicago. I have to believe that Mr. Sears' spirit is restless now that the chain of stores he founded has gone out of business. As for the Johnathan house, I'd love to know if any of the residents of the house have had any paranormal events. Spirits are notorious for being upset when renovations are done, so I'm guessing that there may have been some activity around the time the house was remodeled/added onto. BTW, thanks for the livestream today, it was awesome!

Ron, I laughed all through the Cuba Rd. experience. I could just see you all running for your lives. Thank goodness you weren't shot. The last part of your video was as usual very informative. The heat situation bothered me, as I expected Sears to appear at any moment. You are like the mailman, neither sleet, snow or rain keeps you away from the cemetery. Really enjoyed this one. Sandee

Your a rock star for taking us, on all these escapades in the rain. Absolutely amazing! My father use to take me and my brothers, to all the battle fields, mansions and museum's. My father's family does the reinactment, of the civil war and revolutionary war every year. When me and my brothers were kids in the 80's. We use to chase the night train, only to count the old box cars. Every time I hear, that country song... Night Train if reminds me of when I was a kid. I don't usually use KZread, I use my brother's KZread, but I'm actually a girl. So when I post comments, people probably look at me crazy. Thinking wouldn't a female say that.

I have to admit when I see cemeteries I have no problem even realizing human remains are just underneath the ground. However crypts are a different story. Maybe because the remains are above ground. The Sears crypt gave me the willies! That said I grew up in a haunted house and my experience when sensing a spirit was with cold spots like ice going through your body or phantom smells. However warmth/heat is possible according to a friend whos a ghost hunter. She said feeling hot can be felt when interacting with an angry spirit. The fact you lost battery power and felt ill may mean that you had a personal interaction with an angry spirit possibly affecting your energy and equipment.

He may well experience more creepy feelings!

Your story of youthful shenanigans brings back memories of driving county roads at night and finding things. On Halloween night in my sixteenth year my first husband and I (then my boyfriend) were driving with friend named Butch on an insulated road in the country in Indiana. There was a slaughterhouse nearby. When we reached our destination, being the only car on the road for miles we found something truly horrible. It was called Cry Womans Bridge. In the late 1800's back in the horse and buggy days a family had stopped on the bridge with a broken wheel and the jolt had caused the wife to somehow accidentally dropped her baby over the side to its death. It was said to be haunted by her spirit and she would cry out the child's name and weep in the dead of night. It was Halloween so we figured why not go see if she was there and when we arrived we got way more than we bargained for. There on the entrance to the bridge on a post hung a freshly slaughtered cows head and very real blood was everywhere. There was a lit burning torch on the opposite post and no on in sight, dead or alive. We hit the gas and go out of there without even saying a word to anyone about what we had seen. A few years later I learned there were satanic rituals in the area for years and it made more sense. But to a sixteen year old girl and two nineteen year old guys it was terrifying. So that is my story of youth, yours was much less wierd but fun to hear about nonetheless. The sears masolium was very strange, temperature fluxuations and creepy shadows. And where are the ladies? Strange.

I love that the members want to give to buying stones. My Grandma's first husband was killed in the 1920s from a gasoline fire. She had found out where he was buying the bouquets he brought to her when staying out "playing cards" (a local florist who wore black to his funeral) so she would not buy a stone for his grave. A family member evidently finally bought one. I always felt so sorry for him even though her second husband was my Grandfather.

Hi Ron, I really love hearing your reminiscences of your younger years, I could literally hear your voice change with recognition when you found the Johnathan House again. The memory of going into that other house was really funny, you have a great way of telling stories and you really should do audio books reading about horror stories or thrillers. Wow very strange with the temperature changing like that, usually with paranormal stuff it gets colder, perhaps it was Mr Sears anger unless you were coming down with something which I really hope not. Thank you so much, I really enjoyed this video, it was awesome. xx💖
