My favorite room was the room with all of the ghosts standing up under sheets. That is absolutely terrifying not being able to tell who could move or who is real. Would be a cool idea for a real haunted house

SPOILER ALERT: to all of those not understanding the movie/ending.... guys, it's highly metaphorical lol > the clowns/devils = her dad+nightmarish childhood/abusive relationship & when she finally killed the clown/devil/creepy guys she's FINALLY overcoming her hellish past > this is especially prominent when she kills the last guy in her home = she's healed/healing from her dark past!

I looked up videos on The Haunt after I just watched it. I thoroughly enjoyed it yet kept getting confused as to whether the older attacker was her father or not. There was a whole set of her childhood room at the haunt, so it would stand to reason that he was somewhat involved

Review finished. I'm adding in some constructive criticism only because I can see you have talent that can flourish: You have really good pacing to your in depth explanations, and the general fluctuations in your voice and tone are very fitting. The jokes can fall flat, but I only think that it is mostly from your delivery, since you can seem to lose some confidence in what you are saying at certain points. That instantly will kill a joke. Instead, own it. Or, if you are not 100% certain on the material, try leaving it out. You can tell you have a lot of passion and interest for and in what you do. That's great. Keep putting these together and I think you'll naturally find where you're most comfortable on how and what you present. TWO THUMBS UP! ***EDIT*** As a new sub, I just looked at your channel and found this is only your 4th video. I'm even more impressed. You'll polish things up just fine as you go along. Nice!

The way I thought it was going to go is that someone was wearing Sam as costume. I got a Saw vibe here. Then when it was switching all around like Saw, I got the feeling that maybe things weren't really happening simultaneously, like it was just one person doing it. I really didn't buy Harper setting up all the traps with her injuries just in time for the clown to get there. Someone had said they were part of a cult and just like tearing faces off, but I didn't remember that actually happening. Like The Strangers, theyre just killers having fun. I hate when it's not explained why or when it's a dream and none of it happened at all. I did like it a lot more than I thought I would

Really good review, I liked your point about the bodies of the group before going into the house and not seeing anything else about them but I feel it’s hinted at around the end when vampire is pushing something into a metal barrel when clown walks past before turning on all the lights, maybe it’s the bodies/parts of the other group? Just an idea (at around 1 hour 12 mins into the film)

yes. stupid horror movie decisions littered throughout this movie. There are PLENTY of instances where they could've killed the villians but just straight up didn't. Also, before they went down the chute, one guy goes down and then they send the VILLAIN down next, leaving their friend and the villain alone. Add to that, the 2nd guy goes down after leaving all 3 girls alone who of course get attacked. Why wouldn't guy 1 go down, then wait at the end of the tunnel as the other 3 girls come down, THEN the last guy so he can protect them? Choices like these really ruined the movie for me.

My main critique for this movie (and I CANNOT believe the writers did not write this in) is that I’m pissed their escape plan did not rely on wearing the costumes or the masks. Writers, seriously???? There were many opportunities for the victims to steal costumes and masks of the “employees”/killers. This would’ve been such a cool way for them to team up and escape or gain weapons or kill other staff. I was sooo disappointed that didn’t happen. There was one moment where I thought the main girl was gonna steak a mask

This movie reminded me a little too much of ‘The houses October Built’ - I thought there would have been a better character arc for, at least one of the villains. They tried to create a link between Harper and the house, the entire time and failed miserably. It’s an engaging enough movie but there is literally nothing mildly clever or different from a plot or horror perspective.

The movie was good and I enjoyed it, however there were many dumb decisions (tbh like any other horror movie) moments where you scream at the screen as to why they didn’t do something. The main bit that annoyed me was when everyone was still alive (except that one girl) and they have the killer with them. They say “one person at a time through the tunnel” now lets recall only evan, harper and the other girl had been through this tunnel. They send evan first (fine) but then why not send harper next as she knows the way and let evan remain at the other side (it doesn’t take longer then 1-2 minutes to go through the tunnel realistically. THEN they send the villain so evan and harper can stay with him to make sure nothing sketchy happens, (then the rest can come through). Granted another villain can kill some of the girls on the other side but it still keeps more of the group alive and guarantees less kills happening

A note of (what I hope comes across as) constructive criticism is to try and speak with a bit less verbal filler in - it makes you sound more confident. It didn't happen a lot in this video but I really felt like the portion where you talked about the guy in the one man human centipede costume and linked it back to a past video felt unscripted and a little clunky compared to the rest of the video. The way you talked about your human centipede video wouldn't have inspired me to watch it if I hadn't already. But honestly, this video is great! Looking forward to more in the future!

Is the issue with horror movies you go out you see a guy in a devil mask then you get an invite to haunted house at that point is when you go when you see the guy on the devil mask in here a lady scream now that's suspicious enough my probably turn back then but I probably wouldn't go outside in the first place either way because I'm I don't like going outside as it is let alone watching this movie but basically you see a guy in a devil mask who looks at you creepy that's when you turn back especially when you hear the lady scream

The end sequence, and the last shot are so important imo. They can change your mind about a movie from " yep a good one " to " What a movie ! ". Vincent Delmas Those are some great suggestions. I love both Hereditary and Midsommar. I’ve also heard some pretty insane things about Martyrs. Also, I’ll have to check those other movies out you mentioned! In regards to the importance of the end of movies, I agree 100%. The end of the movie is the last thing you see before the movie cuts to black. If it leaves you on a bad note, then you won’t feel as good about the movie. To answer your question about if I’ve ever gotten into filmmaking personally I am happy to say I have. Ever since I was young I always enjoyed making small shorts with my friends. Also, my main passion is to write and direct my own movie. I’d love it eventually upload possibly a short film to my KZread channel in the future :) Thanks for all the positivity :)

If there would be a sequel, it would probably be awesome if it revolves around the first group who arrived at the haunted house before Harper’s group. Let the main POV revolve around that girl that got burned by the witch?🤔

It’s not a good movie decision made by the cast are terrible to a point of no return like not killing the guys they fight or not keeping the chainsaw or the fucking gun And the only person they actually instant kill has to be her friend to have at least one plot twist except a fucking brick wall And the icing on the cake is ENTERING THIS OBVIOUS MURDERHOUSE AT ALL ffs plot just happens because plot has to happen It’s kinda a shame that every horror movie is absolute garbage that this travesty of a shitshow is called good
