I just love this song, Maggie and the band are superb on this song. My wife and i would have a Harvest Moon ball every year. We would dance and watch the stars with the kids. Have big BBQ. MY WIFE HAS PASSED, BUT THIS SONG ALWAYS BRING ME BACK TO THE BALL AND OUR DANCES.Thanks, guys for letting me relieve those wonderful times in this song. 😢

It was Maggie's choice to do this one when they reunited for studio recording. Tim said he doesn't think much of the song but did it to be nice. After all Maggie was back! She had some good ideas how to arrange it, and when it came out it got 85,000 views in 2 days and the new studio F&F was off to the races!

Maggie’s tone is like curling up on a couch with a blanket and warm fire. While fresh baked cookies are cooling on the counter, while snowing outside..it really is remarkable!!!!

This is one of the songs I tell people to listen to when I first tell them about 'Foxes & Fossils'. Love this band so much!

Typical Maggie Adams; a voice as smooth as silk and an enchanting smile. I was in the front row for this performance and I don't think I took my eyes off of her through this entire song. Thrilled to see it here on KZread so everyone can enjoy it.

The version from 3 years ago was my introduction to Foxes and Fossils. That version has millions of well deserved views and at least 100 (and counting) were by me. Maggies lead, the harmony, instruments, just amazing. Loved it.

We don't get to see much of him, but Toby's guitar work on this tune is masterful...

It's a beautiful song and Maggie's velvet tone is perfect in this setting. Great instrumental and vocal back-ups. Flawless!!!

I first heard this song when F & F did their first video of it. How did I never hear it before? I fell in love with the song and last October on a warm, clear night with a nearly full moon I took my wife of 38 years outside and danced in our backyard to this in the moonlight. It is one of my pivotal memories I will forever hold dear! Thank you for your fabulous cover F & F!

It's a Neal Young song. Done well by him also not to take away from F&F.

This performance is a lullaby. Maggie's soothing, soulful voice would cure the worst insomnia. Want a decent sleep aid? Forget pills. Let this lower your blood pressure, calm your nerves, and rock you off to slumberland like a baby. Just beautiful.

Though not quite as polished as the previous studio version (balance of vocals and instruments mainly), it is a very worthy live performance, Maggie's voice is the human version of a steel guitar here, and Toby's slide playing is fantastic. Very appropriately subtle instrumentation, adding to the dreamy feel of the song. Certainly one of my favorite covers from this group.

As smooth as a snorkel swim at Maui! I hope Neil Young loves it as much as we do. These fine folks can do no wrong. Wow! It's like an audio painting! * Cav *

I didn't think it would be possible to top the studio version of this, but it has! Excellent performance - I particularly like Toby's "less is more" approach on the guitar, beautifully played.

wonderful. been a neil young fan all my life and of course was very familiar with this song which, at the time, i was kind of meh about. but f&f breathed real life into it and turned it into a thing of beauty. this is not the first time the band has outdone the original song ❤
