Bought it. Now it's on my phone. Fab.
Right now, my wife and I are going through a hard time. I started chemo treatment yesterday and it made for a long hard day. Tonight we found your song, The evening was quiet we had a simple dinner and listened. Oh it was so beautiful. She laid her head on my shoulder, the woman that’s been there for 50 years through every up and down. It was all I could do not to weep for joy. We have danced under the harvest moon and I dream of there being another. Thank you for lending your beautiful voices to this favorite old song.

I've got tears. Good luck with your treatments. I've found music helps calm the days and the nights
Since placing my comment here 10 months ago about having cancer, nearly 300 people have taken their precious time to post a comment here to tell me they care about me. I wish I could tell you how much that means to me and has meant to me in the last year. It was a very hard year. I nearly died from my chemo treatment, vomited for 15 days straight, 21 days without food, lost 45 pounds, and at one point had to have eight units of blood in one night to keep me alive. When l posted my comment I had a tumor the size of a baseball and was in stage four of lung cancer. Today I am grateful to say that I am cancer free. I do not doubt My recovery had much to do with your encouragement. Just to think people half the world away would stop to encourage me just blows me away. And the comments just keep coming. I am fine folks, and God bless you all for your kindness when I needed it most. Sincerely, David Purkerson

I have been taking care of Patients with Lung Disease. Few years ago I played this song and a couple that had been married for 40+ years started dancing. I was so moved, just seeing theme dancing with so much love! She passed away. He was so sad...My story has happy and sad time. When I listen to this song makes me happy and sad>what a great song.

What a great song written by Neil Young and cover by AJ Lee & The Brothers Comatose. I swear it was written for my wife and I. I was the stranger who watched from afar. She was dancing with a fellow at the service club in England. One evening a buddy of mine called me and said, I have a blind date for you if you want to come to the club. I said sure and, to my astonishment he introduced me to the very woman I was watching dance at the club earlier. The rest is history, it’s our 59th Anniversary today. I’m still in love with her and she with me. I get real emotional listening to this song and often have tears of joy knowing how blessed I have been married to the beautiful woman for all these years. ❤

Possibly the prettiest Love song ever written. Beautiful cover 👏
There is about a hundred different covers of this song on KZread, and none of them have harmonies during the chorus. In my opinion, that completed the perfect sound. This is the very best version I've ever heard. AJ's voice is spot on and the brothers harmonies are on point. Thank you for doing this song like it's suppose to be done.

Beautiful...... just beautiful!! It bought tears to my eyes. Thank you so very much Brothers Comatose and AJ Lee!! Please keep up the good work!
Tonight, 5:20 pm Pacific, I stumbled over your version of Harvest Moon and I took it from where I was writing to our living room where my wife, whom I’m still in love with after 44 years was sitting and not feeling well at all. She’s a former Broadway star and I’m an always struggling writer/actor. I hadn’t heard this Neil Young piece in multiple decades and she’d never heard it. I put your version on and she got up from the couch in her fever and discomfort and we danced to you all and this song. We were still the same age when you all finished those last notes, but our astonishing love had somehow gotten younger. We both love you all for this and we always love to dance close, holding each other. Merci beaucoup avec plus d’amour! Wally and Tanya
She has a spectacular voice.

Nothing is ever the same after AJ leans into the Microphone. Best version of this song. Both AJ and the Brothers Comatose have great music! Amazing music and talent.
What is so amazing about this rendition is AJ's absolute mastery of her instrument. Watch it again and again and note how often she's completely changing the sound and tempo of her playing, just perfectly, even the loudness and quietness of her notes. All while singing incredibly. Some people are just born to this and not to take away all the years of practice I'm sure she's endured, AJ Lee was put on this Earth to do exactly this.

I loved this version of Harvest Moon so much that I made it our first dance song at our wedding. My husband and I just got married on July 4 2022 after being life partners for 7 years. Tim, my husband suffered a stroke in November 16.2020. He was told he would never walk or talk again but he proved otherwise. He is walking and talking, but dancing is not quite there yet. This is the sweetest arrangement of this song that I've ever heard, even Neil would agree! That angelic voice is perfection with the deeper harmonies. I found Sean's comment on my sister, Carol's FB post and followed down the rabbit hole, and followed that yellow brick road to this gem of a song that was faceted here to perfection. Thanks, guys!!
An old hippie friend living in beautiful Streaky Bay in South Australia sent me this on Messenger this morning - it's been playing on my computer all day! Some things one can never get enough.
Nothing again Neil Young, cuz I’ve always been a fan of his music. This performance has taken Harvest Moon to a totally new level. Listening to this version, Young has got to be thrilled beyond belief.
The best part of this video for me comes at about 3:40 when you can clearly see Ben's appreciation of the incredible talent standing beside him. There is nothing quite so cool as watching one musician soak up what another is doing, and smiling about it. I enjoyed this every bit as much as I did the original, when it was released.

There are very few covers that I would go out specifically to get. Woodstock. Matthews Southern Comfort. And House of the Rising Sun. Fridged Pink. Come to mind. But your version of this has definitely made the list.
So good. the best cover of Harvest Moon, the vocals and instruments, just perfect. AJ Lee is so great on the mandoline.
Still one of the most beautiful renditions of this song. I suffer from depression in a bad way, but this song always give me sense of worth so have listened to it every time I feel down…you guys are phenomenal.
The singers vocals are so soothing and fit this arrangement perfectly. Her mandolin skills is great too! This is sooo good.
Every once in a great while in music, PERFECTION HAPPENS.
Do you people know how good this sounds. I can't quit listening.

Closest thing to heavenly music. AJ and the brothers need to do more things together. Maybe a full album? Harmonies excellent, acoustics excellent, musicianship excellent, AJ's phrasing and tone superb not to mention this rendition and style is just unbeatable. A musical symbiosis just made in heaven. ITS PERFECT!!
counting down the days until I and my soon to be wife have our first dance to this beautiful song in the Great Smoky Mountains. we both feel so at home when listen to this beautiful rendition. thank you wonderful people
My husband passed on Aug30, 2020, the day before our 46th wedding anniversary. When he's resurrected on a paradise earth, l will sing him this beautiful song.

She is a great talent. That melodic humming at the very end. Pure class and great breath control. Singers please note, throughout the song she held the note on 'moon' for a lot longer than you think. Especially on the last moon. And then that little hummed note........genius.

Whoa! That is a good call out. That is such a good touch she adds to the end. Phew.. I believe all of them. There's something very genuine going on with these cats. This whole performance just moved me. I hope they keep this up!
Oddly enough, I have never heard this song before. I was never a Neil Young fan, even when he joined Crosby, Stills and Nash. His voice, to me, sounded like something that had been soaked in salt water and left to dry in the sun too long. This was really beautifully done. The harmonization was perfect. It wasn't until I read the comments that I realized that Miss Lee didn't belong to the group. Well, she should. She fits in perfectly. Beautiful rendition.
i loved this sound that i looped it 5 times..10-12-23
My husband introduced this song to me about 3 weeks ago. We have listened every night since then. Such a dear song to both of our hearts.
I didn’t want the song to end💞

Exactly why I play it a few times in a row, or a few days in a row, or come back months later for yet another listen! I think I'll be listening to this for years and loving every second of it. It's been awesome to watch the play count go up, as it very much deserves millions more listens!
Best version I’ve heard. I’ve listened to this dozens of times. Thank you 🙏
This is sensational. The way Neil would have wanted to be able to sing it. Absolutely spectacular.
I’m just simply blown away! AJ’s voice and mandolin ❤️❤️❤️❤️ this entire rendition is just superb.
The harmony in this gives me chills, it really does.
It's one of those songs, Great melody, Romantic words, Great musicians, Great vocalists, See how this is great and wonderful to listen to
This version is SUPER groovy. Damn!! AJ’s voice and mandolin solo, and y’all’s harmonies and pickin’! AMAZING! Can’t get over how good it is!!
If you don't love this, there's something wrong with you!
I love how AJ smiles when she makes it out of that tough solo. :)
I love this rendition! And as beautiful as the guitars are the cello blends in and pulls it all together. Love all their voices! Neil Young would be proud!
Thank you so much for this gorgeous romantic song. Dec. 27th, 2023 I will be dancing, with my husband of 45 yrs, heavenly under the beauty of this Christmas light, 2 1/2 yrs home, whole, where he truly is meant to be after cancer fight of 3 1/2 yrs. GOD BLESS❤️🙏🏼

So beautiful. So many little moments of magic that make this one of the best finds on KZread, ever.
THE BEST VERSION OF THIS SONG, bar none. Thank you for recording this. The emotion just pours out of this amazing rendition. You are soothing so many broken hearts. It deserves to get tens of millions of views.
This song makes me cry every time i start missing my husband. Hes been gone 6 years now and it is so very raw. His memory leaves me numb when I see others dancing. I love this song and the way this group of people perform it. The mandolin is just stunning ❤
When you are already sporting grey hairs not to add erratic joints pain and still in love, the song "Harvest Moon" sets you back in a nostalgic mood reliving sweet memories w/ your better half in a transcendental experience only you can fathom its depth...
We just had the Harvest Moon about a week ago and this video somehow found its way on my KZread and I haven't stop playing it. I had to watch Neil Young's version and loved it too. But this one is stuck in my head. I'm 74 and young again! Play it first thing in morning to get me going. Learned the lyrics, chords and tune and trying to sing it with my ukulele. It's my favorite now. Thanks everyone for all your awesome comments.

Love Neil Young, but sometimes a great singer can elevate a song in a way the songwriter can't.
Absolutely brilliant. I love the girl singers phrasing. Harmonies are fantastic too along with a solid bassline.
