Right now, my wife and I are going through a hard time. I started chemo treatment yesterday and it made for a long hard day. Tonight we found your song, The evening was quiet we had a simple dinner and listened. Oh it was so beautiful. She laid her head on my shoulder, the woman that’s been there for 50 years through every up and down. It was all I could do not to weep for joy. We have danced under the harvest moon and I dream of there being another. Thank you for lending your beautiful voices to this favorite old song.

Since placing my comment here 10 months ago about having cancer, nearly 300 people have taken their precious time to post a comment here to tell me they care about me. I wish I could tell you how much that means to me and has meant to me in the last year. It was a very hard year. I nearly died from my chemo treatment, vomited for 15 days straight, 21 days without food, lost 45 pounds, and at one point had to have eight units of blood in one night to keep me alive. When l posted my comment I had a tumor the size of a baseball and was in stage four of lung cancer. Today I am grateful to say that I am cancer free. I do not doubt My recovery had much to do with your encouragement. Just to think people half the world away would stop to encourage me just blows me away. And the comments just keep coming. I am fine folks, and God bless you all for your kindness when I needed it most. Sincerely, David Purkerson

I was so moved, just seeing theme dancing with so much love! She passed away. He was so sad...My story has happy and sad time. When I listen to this song makes me happy and sad>what a great song.

What a great song written by Neil Young and cover by AJ Lee & The Brothers Comatose. I swear it was written for my wife and I. I was the stranger who watched from afar. She was dancing with a fellow at the service club in England. One evening a buddy of mine called me and said, I have a blind date for you if you want to come to the club. I said sure and, to my astonishment he introduced me to the very woman I was watching dance at the club earlier. The rest is history, it’s our 59th Anniversary today. I’m still in love with her and she with me. I get real emotional listening to this song and often have tears of joy knowing how blessed I have been married to the beautiful woman for all these years. ❤

Tonight, 5:20 pm Pacific, I stumbled over your version of Harvest Moon and I took it from where I was writing to our living room where my wife, whom I’m still in love with after 44 years was sitting and not feeling well at all. She’s a former Broadway star and I’m an always struggling writer/actor. I hadn’t heard this Neil Young piece in multiple decades and she’d never heard it. I put your version on and she got up from the couch in her fever and discomfort and we danced to you all and this song. We were still the same age when you all finished those last notes, but our astonishing love had somehow gotten younger. We both love you all for this and we always love to dance close, holding each other. Merci beaucoup avec plus d’amour! Wally and Tanya

What is so amazing about this rendition is AJ's absolute mastery of her instrument. Watch it again and again and note how often she's completely changing the sound and tempo of her playing, just perfectly, even the loudness and quietness of her notes. All while singing incredibly. Some people are just born to this and not to take away all the years of practice I'm sure she's endured, AJ Lee was put on this Earth to do exactly this.

I loved this version of Harvest Moon so much that I made it our first dance song at our wedding. My husband and I just got married on July 4 2022 after being life partners for 7 years. Tim, my husband suffered a stroke in November 16.2020. He was told he would never walk or talk again but he proved otherwise. He is walking and talking, but dancing is not quite there yet. We did manage to rock back and forth through the song and Tim got a huge clap from our guests. Thank you for letting me dance with him again. It was awesome!! BTW, we are 71 years old.
