@@StoneLeafTree I think David just put an orange with the card already in there in the fruit bowl before filming started. David is assuming two things: 1) Harrison Ford does not do his own food shopping, so he wouldn't know that the orange wasn't supposed to be there and 2) The way the orange was positioned would likely subconsciously trick Harrison into picking it. When you do enough mind games tricks like David Blaine has he probably has the manipulation down to a science. He knows how to get people to do what he wants while making them think it's their own decision.

I taught David this trick. The secret is you have to attach the card to the seed then let it grow into an orange. Once it's grown you can do the trick and just hope they pick the 9 of hearts. The prep is long with this one but worth the wait.

For those of you wondering how this trick works, it goes like this: David Blaine became a farmer and placed a nine of hearts in a baby fruit seed last year. While the fruit was maturing David made Harrison see 9’s and hearts every where for a whole year. It’s completely subliminal and magic. Then the rest is easy, he stacked the deck without a 9 of hearts and planted the fruit with the nine of hearts on the countertop. Easy Peasy.

How he did it: Blaine spent 9 months spying on Ford from a tree outside his window, he filmed 42 hours of video of Ford playing cards and learned his favourite cards, then, before this encounter, he got the top 20 cards Harrison used and put them in all in different fruits in his house, and that my friends is how the trick was done.

I know you are correct. Actors do this kind of BS all of the time. Doesn't make Ford evil, it makes him an actor.

The calm demeanor. How he is fine with silence. Doesnt need to respond to every little thing or fill silence with noise. I want to have that kind of presence some day.
