Hi, so you started it without the key, how does that work? I just bought a used 2013 Sportster 48, no manual. Has the key fobs though. I guess I should dl and RTFM!! Anyway, I love the sound and look of this bike, mine has the V&H short shots on it also. Great video!!😍😍😍

Both are same bro both are comming in sposter family but the difference is iron 883 has 883 cc and forty eight has 1200 cc

How do you think the 48 would be comfort wise with forward controls ,mini apes , and similar style solo seat? I’m 6’3 and would be riding it mainly only for city riding. Really considering one lately. Your opinion is appreciated . Very nice bike 👍🏼

I got a chance to try both mid and forwards, towards will be better especially since you’re taller. You being longer, doesn’t go well with your knees in your chest with the mids. Just noticed this was a year ago hope you found your best fit 🤘🏻

48 tank is 2.2 gallons, that is an Iron883 tank which holds 3.3 gallon tank. The new Iron1200s and Roadsters also have the 3.3 gallon. Infact, the only model with the 2.2 gallon is the 48 and the 72 (which is no longer made).

@@dukebrar Iron883 and Iron1200 are the same size tank. Unless you completely changed the tank colour than it is infact a 3.3 from an Iron883. The 3.3 gallon tanks from the Iron1200s never came in vivid black with that paint scheme. They came in vivid black for 2019 and 2020 but with a totally different paint job, along with baracuda silver, billiard white, twisted cherry, billiard blue. I think the Iron883 tank looks awesome on the 48! I've been looking for a 3.3 gallon with the AMF paint scheme. I have a vivid black and industrial gray tank from a 2019 48 that I am putting on until I find a cool 3.3 gallon!
