@@scottkeppler9151 Certainly a lot of truth to that statement. I did however, also own a Vulcan (was an old 750 though), and I only kept it one season. I've had my Road King just about longer than I've owned any other bike now, and I also have a second Harley. They're technically inferior, but the scene that goes with the brand is unique.

@Junkyardgems. That's the same thing I have to explain to customers, every single day of the week. My Shop is for custom Motorcycle jobs, but we don't turn down the basic jobs if we have time to do them. That being said. I get people who ask me to take care of their bikes, and then they don't forget to remind me how many hours that the book says that it will take. I come back with every single job is different, especially when you are dealing with used Motorcycles.

What a beast of a sound.
My son helped the wife. Made sure the 2020 street glide special was all set. When she got it for my 60th. March of that year. Paul yaffe 10" bar's, Dave perewitz mustang seat, 2019 CVO windshield, stage 1 tune, jackpot headers, Rinehart mufflers, screaming eagle intake. River Rock Grey Denim.
I have the big radius on my Low Rider S. At first I thought they were not loud as well. But I gave them time and I feel after they have been broken in a bit…. They sound fantastic now.

Twin Cams really do sound good. I have several pieces on metal of different lengths that I use to put in the baffle, the metal has a threaded hole in the middle so i can put my slide hammer in it after I insert it. It makes repacking baffles a lot easier.

It sounds great. I put those same pipes on my Softail last year, but replaced those baffles with some quiet baffles a few weeks after. I tried to take them back out and put the original baffles back in, those things are in there from being hot and cold, I’m not sure if they’ll ever come out. The quiet baffles from V&H were so tight, there’ no way I could have installed them without putting them on a grinder and taking some of the diameter down. It’d be nice if baffle were made with a small tab or something that’s bent toward the inside you can stick a tool in there to remove them easier.
