In this video we look at the Harbor Freight, Pittsburgh Automotive Tire Pressure Gauge. It has a flexible hose and a pressure release button. It's not a bad little gauge for the money specially if you use a 20% off coupon. I also show you how to make a DIY Pressure gauge if you don't want to buy one from a store or you have custom requirements for your pressure gauge.

HELLO THERE ! In reference to your ( + 30 years air chuck ) there is a rebuild kit for it. I think most of the brand names are design in the same way to account for wear on the rubber sealing gasket. By the way great channel so keep up the great vids !

The good old 20% is over for 2021. But I did see that tire gauge that I’m going to get instead of a digital one that comes up to 25.00

I don't know who you have been listening to, but they are giving you false information. The 20% is NOT over! It will be back several more times before the end of 2021, as will the 25% off and the 30% off. Don't listen to other KZreadrs who have absolutely no knowledge of Harbor Freight tactics or plans. Watch MY channel and you will be notified when those come out and you will get REAL honest information about Harbor Freight.

Is the end chuck of the harbor freight flexible hose removable, so if the flex hose crack, can you just unscrew the Chuck ends off and screw it back to the gauge without needing the hose?

Unfortunately the hose is crimped on so it will not come off.

I hate when they make pressure gauges with an angled end that goes on the valve. They should be straight for an easier push.

The first 1 looks like a hose barb fitting. Not a quick coupler. For hose clamping and air line on to it.

Joe Smith got a gauge on Amazon for $12 that can lock on to Schrader valve and has air inlet and trigger to inflate at same time as checking so you don't need 2 items. Just 1

@@ModernDIYProjects cause when Joe Smith graduated 3rd grade Joe Smith's dad.... Dad Smith.... Bought Joe Smith a used snapper self propelled push mower and said... Congratulations son. You just got hired at your first job. You gonna help dad mow lawns this summer. So dad put Joe Smith to work and dad was school maintenance guy and did wood working. So Joe Smith learned wood working and mowing and welding very young and had jobs mowing and raking leaves and working concession stand at school games since elementary. All growing up Joe Smith worked his butt off and bought tools instead video games cause he liked working with dad in shop with fire in wood stove while freezing and snowing outside in Iowa. Joe Smith became a bike mechanic.... Hence the hey bear when you doing Park tools video....and later small engine and auto mechanic. Now Joe Smith works on trucks and equipment for a landscape and handyman company plus helps do handyman jobs and mowing when someone don't show up. And also works on cars and does bedliner business at home on the side. Joe Smith doesn't blow money on smokes, drugs or women. Just tools, guns and hot rods. Lol. Joe Smith been working 30 years or more and collecting tools all those years. Even in school Joe Smith would garage sale hop on his mo ped for tool deals and use paper route and mowing money and go to farm auctions at fair grounds next to Joe Smith's neighborhood and bid on tools. But that's how Joe Smith got so many tools. Old fashion all American skilled hard work and sweat.

I used a pencil tire pressure gauge for about a year. The spring and gauge numbers shot out of the top of it one day. Be careful, point the gauge away from your face when using it so it doesn't get in your eye in event of failure
