I have the blue point, milton, astro, jaco, etc...matco dt8 tops them all. Every part of the tool looks and feels better made from all the others mentioned above. Besides my 3/8 ratchet, sockets, and cordless impact, this is next in line as most used tool. We are required to check tire pressure on all vehicles that come in. Save your money and buy once, cry once.

I am so thankful you did this video. I have gotten out of the habit of checking my tire pressure CP. I used to do it once a week. I am going to start back now!!! I have a couple of different types of Milton air pressure gauges. Both made in USA. One is for airing up the tires from an airline & has an inline gauge with a magnifier so you can read the gauge easily. The other is a stick type checker gauge. That Matco one looks nice!! There are many of your subs who love Henry & appreciate how you are including him in more of the videos!! He has more facial expressions than any other dog i know!!! Ha!!! Henry the tool addict dog!!

Once the chuck is loose on the threads you can slide off the chuck fitting, and slide on the next one, you don't have to completely unthread it. Just something I noticed messing around with one of these

Used to be with belted tires you could tell they were low. But modern low profile radials in most cars? Nope. They always look low. And 2 pounds makes all the difference in wear & handling.

And agree 100% about air pressure, nobody checks it. I swear half the customers that come in for an oil change service are only there because either the tire light or the washer fluid low light is on and they're too stupid to check it.

I have a half dozen dollar store gauges for my tires with green slime in them. The slime will get into the orifice of a gauge and plug it up, forever. Never use a good gauge on a tire with stop leak. And be kind to the tire shop by telling them there's slime in your tire.
