Sean is my pastor. I was a Southern Baptist pastor for 37 years and 3 years ago I was truly saved!! I now no longer pastor since I don’t meet the qualifications. But God is so great and I’m enjoying learning under pastor Sean!!

Sean being willing to sit down with Doug and Joe is what brought me to listen to Sean…Keith debating Doug brought me to Keith…I am no Wilson fanboy, but I stand with him on MOST things (we don’t baptize babies at First Baptist Church)…

That’s great! I actually had a phone interview years ago to work with Norris’s Kick Drugs out of America Program. But I didn’t pursue it because I wasn’t able to leave Florida at the time and it was only in Texas.

@@jesusrocks256 hi Sean, thank you for your reply. I never expected I would be speaking, via KZread to you and can I say it’s an honour. My wife and I love you and Russel and listen regularly to defend and confirm and loved the AG films. We watched the Colin Hansen interview on AGTV and both came away feeling like he had some soft ball questions and Keller was left pretty much unscathed. I didn’t know about your critique of Keller and I’d be interested to hear what you thought about him. It honestly just came across in the interview that your links to TGC made the interview toothless. I realise this may cause offence, and please know dear brother that I don’t mean to cause you any, just feedback from people who do hold you in high regard. My wife says I’m like you, I always interrupt people talking with unnecessary jokes 😂 I think it just makes me more lovable, as it does you

@@jesusrocks256 man, we all do things like that all the time. Sorry, I just wanted to put up a jokey comment. Everyone knew it was nothing. Thanks for room for nuance, loved the Russel one especially as I’ve been having some dark times too and hearing Russel tell about how he has has really helped with encouragement, we saw him on AG and thought this dude is solid, even despite his struggles. Thanks for the Doug Wilson room for nuance show too. I’m not a covenant theology believer or post mill but I got great value from the show. You really showed your depth as an interviewer and we’re really gracious, Doug was really gracious too and it showed how bothers can disagree in love.

Their criticism of theonomy was nothing novel and was refuted long ago. He comes across as weak and compromising. Disappointed overall. One point of criticism if you read these comments or care: I was rather saddened to see that when you asked him about some of the most important questions for him to actually give a nuanced answer, you asked them in such a way that he could blow them off, such as the theonomy question. I didn't see a ton of value in him waxing on about the ligon duncan interview and all kinds of periphery or softball questions, and then try to poison the well for things like theonomy, postmillennialism and patriarchy and quickly move on to something else.

Hey there, friend. The truth is, unfortunately, that you're right. I am weak and compromising. Much more than I should be. Please pray for me to put fear of man to death and grow in the strength that God supplies. Grace and peace.
