gotta apreciate Hans, being trashtalked by world's brightest chess players and putting up with all the lost opportunities because of it, and learning and developing through it, when anyone else would've lost faith. Hans built up a nice background and plot for him, and it looks like everytime he promises, he delivers. Can't wait to see what's next with this guy :D

That's actually a skill. I love the way Hans immediately came to say a few words when the GM said Sagar is on call. That just shows Sagar is super nice to everyone and people show him respect in return for his great behavior.

I think he knows the power of support and if he is able to gain Indian support, social media will be breeze for him. Don’t forget he asked for Samay the second he joined. He seems to be trying to build community for himself and knows Indians supports in bulk and are super power in social media. With so many youngsters and some many spending time over internet and most of them are genuine people

Hans: "Thank you for doing the commentary...you're not the best, but you are such a great pillar of the chess world." Sagar IS the best at chess journalism, and his commentary together with live footage and 2D board is second to none. Chessbase India is a model that all chess journalism should aspire to. (Maybe Hans was saying that Sagar is not the best chess player on the planet.)
