Hannah Payne verdict delivered in murder trial | FOX 5 News

A Georgia jury has unanimously found Hannah Payne guilty on all counts in the 2019 shooting and killing of 62-year-old Kenneth Herring. Prosecutors accused Payne of playing cop when they say she followed Herring after he left the scene of a crash she was not directly involved in. They say Payne cut him off and eventually shot him.

My heart and prayers go out to Mr. Herring's family, Hannah's family, and all those who loved and cared about them both. May others learn from Hannah's mistake. Mr. Kenneth Herring was having a diabetic dilemma. His insulin levels were very low, and that made him confused and discombobulated. He waited for about 20 min. after the accident and then drove off. His wife says he was possibly going to the hospital. Hannah decided that this man was drunk, without any evidence and chased him down and killed him. And she never showed remorse for what she did. She never made a statement to his family to tell them she was sorry.

How did you come up with that number? I thought life was 43 years. Plus the 8 years plus the 5 years. 56. She's 24. I'm trying to figure out if she has to serve the entire 43 years or not. Do you know? Seems like most people get a chance for parole after 50% of time served. I'm surprised they didn't ask for funeral expenses for any monetary compensation. She's completely at fault and should be responsible for court costs as well.

Did she cry for the man she shot and his family? No the miserable person bragged about it and thought that she was going to receive a stay out of jail pass that people who are like that and think believe they are privileged to when assaulting people of color someone lied especially when its all said and done they have to look a judge of color in the face can you imagine being a miserable racist person and have to look at a judge of color in the face which answers why they kept their head down most of the time and if someone was approaching you deranged with a gun how would you react? She definitely need time to think of the terrible things she did maybe she can pass it on to her next generation because her older relatives and friends failed with her

If she really only wanted license plate number why did she even confront him get his plate number and leave. Before you make a decision because you have a gun ask yourself if you would do the same thing without your gun.

This Karen couldn't mind her own damn business, did exactly what 911 told her not to do, confronted an old ass man and expected him not push back. She can really be a Karen now. She can now go confront the murderers and child abusers on her cell block.

This country needs to stop giving every and anybody guns. It’s ridiculous how many lives are lost daily for petty things like this. Two families grieving.

Your dumb comment gave me cancer. Guns aren’t the problem, people are the problem. Look up the FBI statistics, feet and hands kill more people than guns do in America. By contrast guns prevent a lot of crime and save lives everyday. When someone drinks and drives and ends up killing people is the car the problem? I mean no car, no way to drink and drive.. Stop blaming an object for a societal problem.
