    The atemoya and sugar apple are two different plants. The sugar Apple is Annona squamosa. Atemoya is a hybrid between the sugar apple and the cherimoya (Annona cherimola). Making its scientific name A. squamosa X A. Cherimola. Other than that great video with good tips! I especially like how you mark the flowers to know which you've been to.

    As someone mentioned, this is Annona Squamosa. It has a red variety. Atemoya is larger in size and slightly elongated though look similar. Cherimoya has flatter scale like skin. And then there is Annona Muricata (soursop) with spikes. People are always confused over these fruits.

    Apple trees require cross pollination- a different variety of apple tree. They’re not self pollination.

    Garbage. You have no idea what you’re talking about. Firstly they are not apple trees. Secondly custard apples or sugar apples are self pollinating. Doing this with the pipe cleaner just helps cross pollinating.

    one thing i want to add is if you have a young tree or a potted tree, dont over pollinate. I know sometime people get greedy and want as much fruit as possible, but i'v learned the hard way smaller trees can only handle a handful of fruit at a time..

  • @moralesj84

    @moralesj84

    It must have balanced water levels. Drowning the plant in water is just as bad as drying it out. After good water levels are checked, it must be fed, to keep it healthy. I dnt remember which is a good "feed" for this fruit tree but a good web search will give u a good idea. But leaves falling depends on the time of the year as well.
