    Planted 3 trees 6 years ago my wife told me “you don’t have to do anything” ..true if you have the right beetle and environment for their life cycle. This year I did exactly what this lady recommended and finally have so many I’m thinning them out. Thanks!!!

    Glad it worked out :), I haven’t had much time between kids homeschooling to hand pollinate but like you mentioned because of the system already in place still have enough to taste and even share with friends and family. But hand pollination still our best bet .

    Thank you for this very informative video. I got a new tree this spring and it’s growing. Should I attempt to hand pollinate this year or wait next year when it’s more established? It has buds

    My pleasure, Rollinias at least what I have is self fertile, if they get good amount of water , sun ☀️ , humid conditions and a high amount of organic matter they will fruit splendidly. Asztapaszta :), are you speaking Hungarian? Funny YT name ..thats why I am asking … that’s my Mother language …

    Hi Evan, I use chop and drop, ton of organic (no color added) mulch… I think they are pretty care free when they start out happy.

    Can you see the pollen taken from male? Because I cant. Thank you for the tips.

    Hi Tomas, it’s such a tiny dust particle, but if you collect it in a dark cup you can have a chance to see it… also see through probably would show that delicate dust/pollen.

    @@PlantsAmore how many days does it take to know if the hand pollination was successful?

  • @PlantsAmore

    @PlantsAmore

    Ай бұрын

    @@flawdaboi26 I haven’t counted days , but you will know just by looking at the stem if you see the next couple of days start to yellow it didn’t take vs if it’s still nice and green intact pollination more than likely successful, then you will see the tiny fruit forming .:) Good luck:)

    Ha ha , I haven’t pollinated this year & barely had any on the purple one… one of the Thai variety performed pretty well without hand pollination though.

    Yes it can happen and will happen, but this will increase production. I had so many more sugar apples by hand pollinating them this year .
