🏅 Hand-built, Road Legal, F1-inspired Supercar - Zacaria SC | ANATOMY OF SPEED

Powered by a Ferrari V12 and looking like a toned-down version of a mid 2000s Formula 1 car, the Zacaria SC is also street-registered! Because when you've finished building your dream car you'll want to drive it around and see people's reactions, of course.
Zac's creation is nothing short of incredible and well worth an entire episode of "Anatomy of Speed".

    Adding exhaust inside the rear diffuser will only stall it’s aero out. If they were going for a pseudo drag reduction system it’s perfect, otherwise that is not how one builds a blown diffuser

    isnt the exhaust at a higher velocity though?? even though its introducing volume momentarily the pressure drop it creates in front of the absent exhaust section should help the floor work harder.

    Agree. That would destroy the air flow. You want clean air that sticks to the diffuser surface. That would cause chaos to the air turbulence.

  • @NPC-fl3gq

    @NPC-fl3gq

    2 жыл бұрын

    You don't get linear air flow out of a diffuser in the real world anyway, and if the exhaust is moving fast enough it will actually lower the pressure and help empty the diffuser. It's a bit counter intuitive.

    Really cool project! If they are going to get serious about some track time I think it'll need some revisions. That rear wing isn't going to do much with how low it is and all the upstream turbulence. The blown diffuser will most likely stall but at least they can close the exhaust valve and see if it makes a difference. One of the big things is no heave spring that I can tell. If and its a big if, it makes a bunch of downforce it'll have to be setup extremely stiff or it'll bottom out the suspension.

Am having the same problem again everything new and falling edge, fuses car works fine for month with miss fire on number three sorted out by unplugging coils and then plugging them back in ran on all four for two days then stopped dead no spark! Fed up now mate this is the fourth time it has done this surely a software problem for bmw pencil coils.
