They certainly have an incredible stage presence. Saw them open for Sabaton. These guys made it hard to tell who were the opening act and who were the headliners!

Estão velhos, mas ainda sim colocando muita banda no chinelo que vão neste festival. Joacim e Oscar como de praxe, mostrando ao mundo que a Suécia é o berço do Metal faz uns bons 15, 16 anos já...e destaque para os três últimos álbuns do HF, que são ótimos, tenham esses suas músicas tocadas em estúdio, rádio ou ao vivo.

@@mickgabriel8963 conheci em 2007 só, e desde então só achei ruim o "no sacrifice, no victory" ruim, de resto, só pedrada boa. Esse DOMINION ficou espetacular, metal melódico parrudo, e ao vivo algumas músicas dele ficaram perfeitas, uma pena eu não ter ido no show ainda

@@mickgabriel8963 o bom do Wacken mesmo são as transmissões e esses vídeos curtos, e o casting de bandas, porque o público europeu é morto mesmo kkkk no Brasil é diferente neh, público aqui é eufórico por metal (os que vão e que escutam/curtem mesmo), só falta ter mais transmissões/coberturas de shows de metal assim aqui...

Estuve ahí faltaron muchos clásicos. Un heading the call, legacy of kings, the dragon lies bleeding, Solo por nombrar algunos. Pero en fin estas bandas se enfocan en mostrar su material nuevo no más. Pa un festival tan grande y por los 30 años uno esperaba un poco más jaja pero en fin. Tremendo bacilar el martillo en Alemania de todas formas \m/

Hammerfall deservingly plays to awesome crowds like this in Europe and Germany. Sadly, America/US sends Hammerfall to shitty crappy bars to play and they don’t get the respect they deserve. I live in America and I’m disappointed that my American people would rather support horrible POP music they didn’t even write. Disgusting how this works. I’m so disappointed with Americans and their music preference. Keep REAL METAL ALIVE!1

It is unfortunate, but metal was born in seedy bars and dark and dingy places, so I'm sure Hammerfall doesn't mind. Plus, it is super easy to get to shows thanks to metal being underground. I saw Hammerfall together with Sabaton for a little over $100 bucks when they came to Vancouver, Canada and they put on a hell of a show! Plus, I read somewhere that bands prefer to perform in smaller, more intimate venues. More interaction with the crowd and the sound quality's better overall.

I think that "Glory to the brave" is almost exclusively responsible for reviving the power metal genre and turning it into one of the most popular sub-genres. After that they made some excelent albums , a couple of weak ones , but overall i think it's one of the most consistent and hard working metal bands of the "modern era". I´m also glad they got rid of Anders, i respect him for his career but i always felt he wasn't trying hard enough in Hammerfall, especially when playing live (the intro to heading the call was always atrocious).

Hammerfall is the perfect example of how metal will never evolve.
