Joel makes a point of going over to the handicap spots in shows. It is always such a pure and amazing moment at every show! He's giving them a night to remember for the rest of their lives

Wacken has had some great bands over the years, but I have to say, scarcely in all my 55 years on the planet have I enjoyed a performance as much as this!

That's what a proper stage looks like. Lots of energy and Marshall stacks.

I hate to tell you this but most of those Marshall amps and speakers are just empty cabinets. Some double up as gear storage. There's one real stack for each guitarist and the bassist has an Ampeg stack.

@@stevec6427 with AB's bigger shows (like this) yes - some will just be dumny cabs, however - on their standard club/smaller venue gigs, all cabs are live and all the heads are blended to create their tone (theirs a vid of Joel explaning it somewhere) and oh boy - it's loud ⚡🔥

Joel O'Keeffe ain't neither Bon or Angus. And certainly no crossing of those two monsters. Nevertheless, Airbourne is a friggin good live fun-band.

Every rock show should have a mandatory wall of stacks in the back. Glad these guys are bringin' back good ol' rock'n'roll

I saw Airbourne open for Maiden about 8 years ago. They put on a great show then and still do. Awesome stuff!

I love this band. I've been at their concert in Prague last October. It was something else. It was indoors, in a club, but still enjoyed it. (Ha, imagine that now!) Amazingly interactive band. My then five year old, who is a huge fan, was so disappointed that he couldn't go with us.

I heard this band at first time in NFS Prostreet. Today I hear this guy's every time I put my headphones to listen some good music. This dude's are amazing! Greetings from a Brazilian fan.

Love these guys. Don't get the credit they deserve.

i wish id heard of these guys a lot sooner. easily one of the best performances ive heard in my 34 years. and then to boot the frontman is such a good hearted and talented performer he runs off stage near the end to play next to the guy who was in a wheelchair. i love you man, and i love your band. you guys are amazing dudes not just musicians. but on that note you guys are also hellacious musicians. 10 out of 10 and as a former performer myself i admire like hell how good you sound in an outside show, those sound levels are hell to balance.

Wacken Open Air is fucking amazing! Been there 8 times. If it wasn't for this fucking virus I'd be going for the 10th time this year. Best holiday you can do. You'll be physically destroyed afterwards, but there is no better place on earth to forget about your daily life completely.
