Halifax has SOOOO MANY breweries to choose from! We made it to 3, but barely scratched the surface.🍻🍺

*Goes to Halifax* *Eats only at tourist traps* Okay if you come back, try: The Press Gang, order The Drill: it's four courses, chef's choice. Lot 6 for apps and cocktails. Barrington Steakhouse for the best steak you've ever eaten in your life. La Frasca over Bicycle Thief: it's their sister restaurant and the food quality is so much better. Two Doors Down: Order the smokehouse burger and deep fried mac n cheese. I swear it's the best burger I've ever eaten Black Sheep for an insane brunch. Best sushi: Fujiyama Best curry: Curry Village, order out because it's not a super dining atmosphere Also, how did you miss the market stalls at the Farmer's Market?!

Agreed! Although I suspect maybe some of these restaurants paid for a spot in the video? That list is looking good but just a few more to consider: Bar Kismet (best restaurant in Halifax imo), Kitsune (for sushi), Doraku Dartmouth (go for the omakase), Edna's (brunch or dinner), Dear Friend (great cocktail and snacks bar), and honestly the worst donair place with the best marketing has got to be Johnny K's...stick to K.O.D. on Quinpool.

@@KowboyIketus Nope, I have to correct you there. We do not take money from restaurants to feature them - all of the places we went to were either chosen by us because we liked what was on the menu, or they were recommendations from friends and locals we chatted with.

So glad you enjoyed it. You missed so many other places for good food. Like the Cozy on Liverpool off Oxford for the huge Cozy burger and their pan fried haddock is one of the best in Halifax .. Tareks on Robie for his amazing Lebanese and Mediterranean cuisine and you get a choice of soup samples as you walk in. The list goes on

Many of the places you visited that are in this video I saw including Alexander Keith's Brewery and the Bicycle Thief! It was such an amazing trip. I am generalizing but the people in Nova Scotia are incredibly nice. Can't wait to go back!

Haha, I knew you had to hit the Keith's brewery at some point. I remember standing in that exact same spot 15 years ago and saying "Gimme everything you got!" I also stopped at Garrison brewery back then, it has changed a little bit. I think it was pretty new back then and didn't have any of the kitschy stuff, it was just a building that brewed beer. It was also right next to Pier 21 which I think is a must see for anybody visiting the area.

Hahaha...that is great to hear! I can imagine the city has changed quite a bit over the years with more development. I still feel it has a town vibe though. I just loved how we could more or less get everywhere on foot.

I’m from Halifax! You hit most of the best spots for sure! If your ever on the Cabot Trail you have to try the “Ringer Burger” at the Coastal restaurant!! It was featured on the show “ You Gotta Eat Here”, best burger I ever ate! 🍔
