I am a traditional bLock maker but lately I've been interested in trying something modern. This tutorial really walked me through a thought process that I can understand.. Thank you so much for sharing.

I’ve watched your crumb videos so many times I can’t even count. When I found you had these recent improvisational videos I was so happy!!!!! Now I have something new to watch. I’m only interested in crumbs and improvisational quilting!!!!!! As long as that’s what you’re sewing I’m happy. Please make more of these videos and longer ones. I like to play these while I’m sewing too.

I have watched you for quite a while and kept asking myself, "Why? She is a modern quilter and you are SO traditional!" But this block process just may have converted me. :) About a third of the way through, I thought "I think I want to try this." I missed one of the other improv videos. Now I have to go look for it. :)

Hi Nora, I really love your thoughts commentary while you create. We share a very similar “Darlene Michaud” style 🫶🏻

I like the way you preview your pieces. Other quilters tell me to just sew together whatever two pieces I pick up. That's ok for them, it's just not my style. I like to use a "what if..." process with my crumbs and strings. 😊

I loved all your blocks and of course I'm sitting hear commenting to myself what I like!! It's funny because the ones you weren't sure about were the ones I absolutely loved the most. Great tutorial.

Loved this video; I've only ever followed a quilt pattern since I retired and started quilting and not sure if I can get good colours together but this looks fun and not too stressful as I guess there is no "best" way to do it so I am going to give it a go.

Hi Norah! I managed to track down the video on the wonky squares, but I have been totally defeated to find the square within a square one! I know you are really busy, but I sure would appreciate some help with a link! Thank you Norah!❤
