    This is the clearest and simplest HRT video technique and explanation I have seen, after watching several! Thank you! Showing how to mark the ruler and doing sharp camera close-ups also helps a lot!

    Thank you for this! I do have a question. When you make the little 'tick' on the tail of the triangle where are you making that and then what do you do with it after you have made it? Sorry, but I didn't understand that part!

    The "tick" marking: She is measuring 1/4" away from the edge of the fabric. This will become the point of reference for where your seam will be sewn. It helps give you a more accurate 1/4" seam when you are sewing really angled pieces that can otherwise be visually confusing.
