ahhhh the way she says "this song's about bees" in the beginning is so cute and i love it and this song is great and definitely gives me bee vibes, especially the guitar part

From a comment on a live performance of the song where Haley told the audience the song meaning :"If anyone's curious, the song is about not placing value in Western beauty standards. Live your life and be you."

Rumor has it this song was supposed to be on Haley's debut album but it "didn't make the cut". As she tours Haley will pull out random songs she has created in the past and then just as quickly they are gone. Believe me, I feel your frustration. I cannot count the songs I wish had studio/album treatment going all the way back to songs she presented for her senior project in high school. I am thankful we have KZread for little glimpses and for Zach, the wonderful producer who has helped Haley polish and select what songs do make the final cut! ☺️ Maybe Ride a Pack of Bees will make it to the next album!

There's a great recording of it in the Bug Collector EP, it wasn't widely available though (I think it came as a bonus download with a 7" single)
