not sure if you guys know the studio albums, the performance, the recording and the mix are all pretty bad, at some point the male singer frankly out of tune. Sound us muffled, balance is bad. Not sure how you can say the mix is "gods work", its electronic music with just two singers, about the easiest thing to mix v, a live like that (in a small room, with no battery or live instruments) should sound same as the album, assuming the performance and recordings are decent, which is not the case here.

  • @AlexMPruteanu

@@lo2740 you got it. Also, they're all playing under the recorded, mixed track on the album. That's why everyone is praising the sound engineering. Because it's the album first and foremost you're hearing, then these guys in the studio waaay under. The vocals are live, however.

Hearing them shoutout Fugazi and Dischord and citing them as a major influence for how they conduct their business is so awesome to me. Makes me realize how much impact one group of people can have on other groups, wherein those who are inspired by those originators go on to inspire thousands more. Being independent is a world movement

Wow! I had no idea these guys were from the US. I first heard them in the late 90s around the same time as Massive Attack, Portishead, Sphongle, etc; so assumed because of their "world" sound that they were from Britain. I am quite surprised to hear music of this type and style coming out of the USA. Excellent stuff!!
