This session is UNREAL. The fact they recorded it in what seems like a perfect one shot, the way they’re all so technically perfect and that everything comes up so clean, the way they’re all so coordinated instrumentally and they sound like an album, the harmony of their voices matching so perfectly, the way they rearranged most of their songs and worked their transitions, not to mention the incredible (literally) sound engineering.... this is mind blowing 🤯. I discovered this band around 3 years ago when they just had a few EPS, I know they had something special... but After having seen them live 3 times and now seeing THIS, can say that they’re hands down one of the most talented and technically perfect band around. Such good instrumentalists, this is masterpiece

I think the magic comes in the fact that there's a really strong organic/funky element to the instrumentals, and the composition is on point too, but the textures and production have a really specific and unique character.

Saw them in cologne 2 days ago. Unbelievable performance. What a trip. You can feel the influences of Berlins electro scene but they managed to create a whole new genre of music IMHO. Spiritually I was in the 70s, 80s and a techno club of the 90s. Everyone I met did not expect that kind of energy. A concert I will never forget. One of the best I’ve ever been to.

Not to be that guy, but that's how tons and tons of live albums are recorded, unless they take audio from multiple shows... This is really no different from them playing a concert, there just isn't any people and the sound is 100x better in a studio. Not saying this band isn't super talented, just that that is a common template for making a live album.

back in 2021 i was with friends at a coffee shop and they were playing this in the place's radio. we couldn't believe how good it sounded and asked who were they. after that we got home, lit a joint and listened to the whole thing. it became the soundtrack of that beautiful year for my roommate and I, and every time we hang together and some of these songs sound, we remember gladly those days.

So I'm walking through rainy streets to get to shelter at the mall in Malaysia this week and I pass a swanky hotel and through the speakers is this absolutely magnificent sound.. rocking yet softly, poppy, but not cheesy; hooklines but not overdone... this absolutely beautiful understated voice, the lyrics barely making it through to my ears, but my heart felt it all...("withorwithout") I got so stressed because the torrential rain storm and me stuck with guitar and backpack prevented me going back and tracking down the artist- meanwhile kicking myself for not immediately going into the hotel, but I was burdened with my things.... A long shot, but I wrote to the hotel Checking my sent box for days it seemed I hadn't even been able to get through This morning I got an email from management telling me the playlist- I quickly, frantically sifted through 11 hours in minutes and oh my God someone tell me what better feeling than tracking down a song like this and then finding out all about them! From Byron Bay and I return to Aus in a couple of weeks.. strange coincidence Thank you for beautiful music❤ Your newest fan
