Goodness, this is nearly the fourth time I’ve listened to this so I figured I should finally leave a comment. Haley is my biggest, biggest inspiration with my guitar style and songwriting and this video is always such a comfort for me. She’s incredible and I can’t wait to see where she goes

Yo, the vibe I'm getting from this band is so chill. And the Trombone is just icing on the cake. I'm used to hearing those things blaring due to school bands but here it's mellow sounding like when trumpets have those cones in the horn. peaceful, and amazing sounding band.

This performance feels like some kind of grunge/folk hybrid; I guess that makes some kind of sense for a band from Portland, but when you mentioned Marceline it clicked.

Never heard of this girl before... I like her earthy, ambient folky style... I don't believe I've ever seen a band where a trombone played the lead... Interesting combination of sounds... Also, song titles... Bugs, Fish, God, Bees... Don't see that everyday... Definitely not mainstream music but, I sure hope she gets traction and, radio attention... Pop radio has been missing depth in music for a long, long time... Would be a good thing to hear more artists like Haley filling in that monster hole left by super talented writers like Joni Mitchell, Janis Ian, Joan Baez and, others... Her voice has a "Melanie-like" innocence in it... Refreshing to hear someone with a new and, different real sound...

I'm a Portland musician and have seen Haley perform around town. So rad seeing this session pop up, sounds great Haley!

That trombone is so good. Amazing tone and well arranged.

I was listening to this in a tab and there were multiple times when I forgot I'm listening to it live and not the actual recorded song. Her voice is incredible...sounds exactly like it does on her records! I'm a huge fan! Plus she seems adorable.

Just discovered Haley a year ago thanks to Spotify, I haven't stop listening to her since then. Yes, that trombone mesmerized me.💟

This girl is off the hook. Saw her comment on a Norma Tanega video. Both artists are amazing in their respective style. Will checking out both of their catalogs with enthusiasm.

The band's blend of instruments is very, very cool.

I got to see Haley perform solo a couple weeks ago without having heard her music before and I fell in love with her music on the first listen. That rarely happens for me. She has a wonderful voice and the songs she writes are a very distinctive style that's all her own with beautiful sometimes haunting melodies and lyrics that go places I don't often hear about in clever, fun, and moving ways. If you get the chance to go see her, just do it. If you like what's in this video, you'll be glad you did.
