YES! I was hoping we would get to see this. There’s nothing like watching two true artists at work. Both Lzzy and Amy feel the song with their whole body, though their body language looks quite different. You can see both of their minds working as they make decisions about where and how to breathe, you can see how they think through the song. We are so lucky that not only have these two goddesses combined their talents and perspectives to create a truly timeless piece of art, but that we got a look at how they MADE that art. “Inspiring” doesn’t even begin to cover it.

Amy always been good at harmonizing. If you listen to her songs she even harmonizes with herself. Singing backgrounds. High parts or low parts. She has a voice the leans to that very well. Because she can be whispery quiet within her vocal range. Or blow you away with power the next.

Lzzy kept playing in the rain and lightning. We got soaked. The stage manager called it. Amy Lee came out and played piano with Lzzy and that was the show. Even with the small stage small crowd and hellacious storm Halestorm was awesome. They gave all they had and didn’t want to leave the stage manager came out said “shows over”.

The same. I was in depression 2 years ago and only my long distance boyfriend was there for me till the end. The others cared about my condition at the beginning but a few months later stopped. So, he was the only one for me that time. Like in the song, I sometimes heard his voice inside my head; when my lights of happiness came on, he saw me as I am...I can say that every verse in the song says about smth of that time. Now I am fine and the depression is gone. My bf and I are still dating and we are happy to have each other in our lives. The song reminds me of those days but only with a smile on my face. Now I hope we will break the distance, so I will 'find myself running to meet him'. I'm very happy for you, I wish you the best!
