If you like it, please have a stop on gentle giant. This song is clearly a tribute to them. I personally advice "The Power and the Glory" album to begin with.

I Just discovered Haken by accident with that song on Spotify, I have so say and be very honest here : This song is a MASTERPIECE!!! It is truly the BEST song I have ever lisen in my entire life. I've come across jewels of musicians and awesome songs but this one is indubitably the best of the best. I think i'm gonna have a blast diving deep into this band. :)

Have a good trip with them! Haken is a truly unique band, and I've listened to many progressive metal bands in my entire life. I've also see them live in 2023 with Between the Buried and Me and Cryptodira, amazing concert :)

Being the ultimate Dream Theater fan, I expected their self-titled release to be the definite prog album of the year... I was so wrong. Thanks Haken, along with Between the Buried and Me you restored my faith in the future of prog music!

Just found out about the band... Damn! I want this band to get HUGE! Amazing everything (even the vocals are great for a change considering the prog/metal scene). Everybody singing, two keyboards... just perfect.

They dont need to be HUGE its just important that enough people buy their CDs so that they can Live from their music. You know pay the rent and buy Food There are prog Bands out there that are very very unknown just like Haken but they are really Good like Dalis Dilemma, Andromeda, Freak Kitchen, Seventh Wonder, Pagans Mind, Pain of Salvation ( check their CD Remedy Lane )

this is now the fourth song i've heard from them and frankly i'm not sure what i'm getting myself into but i love it

damn this is truly one of my favourite songs just because of its beautiful absurdity and just the pure talent it uses to pull of every single strange, unique and interesting section of the song off flawlessly, and honestly this music video is just something else. I always had the story play out in my head, but now after seeing this music video this is definitely whats going to play through my head when i'm listening to the song. and I'm in no way displeased.

Gentle Giant goes metal. F***ing brilliant.

This is incredible. Awesome. Superior high quality. Massively cool. Ultra mega great. I'm not just impressed, I'm totally blown away. Stunning and funny. I'm in love forever.

I love that the playing of the instruments is accurate to each moment of the song. A lot of music videos just take clips of the band members playing and throw them around randomly, and the sound doesn't sync well

I'm hearing Gentle Giant influences which I LOVE!!!

I know Haken since some years now. And there are so many prog bands I love, may it be Genesis, King Crimson, Gentle Giant, Rush, Tool, Flower Kings, Spock's Beard, IQ, Marillion, Porcupine Tree or all the other not so popular but great prog bands. But Haken have a special place in my heart, which just belongs to them and although I like all the other bands pretty much - returning "back" to Haken feels like coming home every time.

Haken, I've shown this song to almost every musically inclined friend I have and the reception is really good. Even though it's such an out there song, the strong vibes of queen and Floyd and the great rhythm in the opening is so enjoyable.

「COCKROACH KING」, the newest stand in the Higashikata family.

Only discovered this song because I just led my dungeons and dragons party into an area where a society of sentient cockroaches had grown and multiplied around a king who had found a magic item but then been blinded by it, and the players had to go through a labyrinth of illusions to find the object/artefact... The broken crown, the golden wings, the choking, being hypnotised, the mirage.. all relevent to the events of that game. So one of my players told me a few days later that they had to double take and listen to this song 5 or 6 times for all the references. And here I am 😆😆, it's uncanny how well this fits.

You are the best guys!

Just adding, this makes it in my top 5 songs from my favorite band, Haken
