I should've recorded my ponytail (wolfcut) hair cut I did 2 months ago for you. You would've been proud. About 15 inches in the first cut(yes, I have real hair scissors), and another 3-4 in the shaping/clean up cuts afterwards. Then had to use the thinning shears, and had enough hair piled up I could've made a pillow. Went from heavy, thick wavy hair to very curly.

I just gave myself the butterfly cut this morning. Yes, I wet it first Brad 😂. I cut 9" off and I lost almost no length. This was the first time I've cut my own hair and it looks FABULOUS!! Thanks Brad !!

Hi, Sheena! I am so sorry that you have to deal with this illness( But I'm sure that you will fully recover! I myself have androgenic alopecia, I know it's not cancer but I understand how difficult it is to loose hair. It will get better though!

Layers are the cure to sadness. I recently had 8 inches taken off my length and had lots of layers put in. My hair is about a 3b curl pattern and it is just long enough that it can be put in a ponytail. It is so cute! I also did a copper gloss to give my hair some life again! I am loving it!

I have done this cut twice now and I love the results. I went a tad shorter today then last time and I don't regret it! It's weird, but it actually still appears quite long lol The layers work! These tutorials have really been helpful to me! I'm almost 49, my mom was a hairdresser. But, she was solely for elderly women. So I grew up with a pixie cut. I was teased to tears as a child. Kids would tell me I looked like a boy lol😂. So when I was an adult I swore I would never have short hair again. Long and natural(very frizzy and curly) so I appreciate a cut like this so much! I can do it at home and my hair wears this cut so well and it still has length

This video encouraged me even more. The last time I had my hair cut professionally I was 5 years old and it went VERY wrong. I’m 18 now, turning 19 in October and later this month I will be getting layers and a side. I know I will look amazing and have been planning this cut for months. Since I haven’t gotten a professional cut in 13 years, I’m really nervous. But seeing these girls cut their hair encouraged me a lot!

I have no idea about hair about cutting hair or anyting interesting like that but this young man makes me smile thank you for that.

I like my hair for the first time in my life thanks to your videos on hair color, cutting face framing layers, using the correct products, and diy blowouts. I've visited dozens of salons, often leaving totally frustrated after spending 100s of dollars only to look horrible. Your channel is a TOTAL GAME CHANGER for me. Thank you so much! I just did this cut after watching several of these. I DIDN’T follow the directions perfectly, but I love the way it turned out. I only took about 4” off the front and 6” off the back. I will probably take more off of the back next time. I didn’t have to do too much extra blending, and it turned out beautifully! For a 50 year old woman that is only recently learning about hair care and what is possible, I am super grateful for your videos and teaching. Thanks, Brad! 😘

I followed Brads tutorial for the butterfly cut exactly, except I used a straight razor instead of scissors. It turned out perfectly. The tutorial is really easy so I don't understand how people seem to have such a hard time following it. Thankfully the haircut is very forgiving.
