First girl, I love watching her hair transformations. They always look soo good.

Yknow, brad makes me so happy. He has such strong reactions and emotions, so much passion for so many things. He's just so bright and opinionated and dramatic and .... when I feel down, when I feel empty, he gives me energy, he's just wonderful to watch.

I recently had to cut all of my hair off, full buzzcut. I bleached and dyed it one too many times to the point where it wouldn’t even get dry because it was so desperate to retain the moisture. At the time it felt like the lowest point in my life but I’ve been slowly getting used to it and seeing this video made me really happy. Thanks Brad Mondo :)

It could be called "Making the Cut." It's basically what you are doing now by watching all of these people cut their own hair, except you would be judging them in a competition. I would watch it.

The first girl is amazing ! I love her channel, she's always doing something awesome to her hair

I'm a frequent watcher of first girl. She helped inspire me to get my Mohawk like 9 years ago and I always come back to her for tips on extensions and sometimes to binge watch whatever interesting things she does to her hair. I definitely feel her on the "fuck it let's just chop and figure it out" lmfaooo. A bit impulsive but also ends up working out. If anyone is into alt hair, specifically mohawks and synthetic locs, they should check her out.

I don't know how but Kero always makes her look so good. It always always turns out eventhough I watch every video like "oh, no girl what are you are doing?!"

The green was so nice on the first girl, I was def sad to see it go. But I totally get that feeling of wanting to chop all the damaged hair off your head. I’ve been growing my hair out for the past 2 years after completely destroying it. The ends are still so fried, and it takes so much self control to not cut it off, but I would look awful with a bob, so I have to wait. Def learning to have patience, but I have so much more appreciation for my natural hair! Thanks for the vid Brad ❤️ all these girls look amazing after their haircuts!

I completely damaged my hair for about 2 years... Bleaching and straightening and dying bright colors.. But then I decided to go natural because my hair is naturally extremely curly and I was tired of spending so much time straightening my hair and then it just poofing out and still looked terrible regardless of how much time I spent. I shaved all my hair off to get my curls back and start over. It's definitely worth the chop. I have beautiful tight and shiny curls now..

@BradMondo I got my hair cut like the first girl just today as it is my go to cut. Has been for like 5 years now the menopause has finally come in on full blast. Yes, I had a hair stylist cut it. She comes to my home as my anxiety goes through the roof at salons. I don't bleach my hair (did that a few times and won't anymore for medical reasons) and I use to dye my hair with permanent colouring. It was so rough on my skin. I have decided after reading many articles and watching your fab vids to use semi-permanent (28 day colour stuff) No ammonia etc. And I just wanna say Thank you Brad for teaching me so much. I do pass on your vids and tell my friends to watch you coz you are awesome! Even my hair stylist watches you and my Drag Queen nephew. LoL **Big hugs** from Canada. :)

Haven’t watched beyond the intro but just saying that this is the cutest hairstyle Brad has had fr Edit: these were so satisfying! I actually also did this once, going from really long (almost to the small of my back) but really damaged hair to a short pixie cut. The amount of times my hairdresser asked if I was sure, 100% sure, before taking the scissors into her hand 😆 never regretted it once (although growing it out was not pretty)

Love your videos Brad. My daughter destroyed my hair with bleach last year although her heart was in the right place. I had to keep it tied back in a pony tail whenever I left the house....Then I took the plunge and cut it to my shoulders but the ends were still a bit awful........then yesterday I did your butterfly cut and then using protection on my hair I straightened it since I have middle aged hair that gets a little wavy and fluffy....the end result was beautiful. I feel excited for work on Monday and wearing my hair down for the first time in a long time.

frankly i don’t think any unnatural hair colors go well with natural browns. it just always looks untidy imo and it did on the girl in the video with the pink and light brown. natural browns look great with highlights so you could go for a more modernized frosted tip moment though.

this got me thinking, it would be so cool if you reacted to trans guys and non-binary people cutting their long hair off to feel happier!! I would absolutely love to see that video!!

I shaved my whole head in December after dying and bleaching it probably 20 times. I’m 13 and have been dying it since third grade. It got so damaged that it was basically falling out. I am so happy and much more confident now, and have kept my head shaved since then! Planning to keep the buzz cut or at least keep it short and no more dye or bleach from now on lol!

I never understand why people cry when they cut their long hair. I usually let my hair grow until it becomes a bother, then just chop it off at chin length. Only recently did I get a different haircut lol, asymmetrical hairstyle gang where you at.

I buzzed my hair at the beginning of quarantine for a fresh start, it grew out so long, it was gorgeous and lightly processed but maintained its integrity *until* someone at Sally’s sold me a product without telling me it had bleach in it. I’m about to just chop it all off, it’s extremely fried beyond the point of return. This video gives me hope 😭

I just did this a couple months ago. I got a purple balayage done, which then faded out in a couple months and ruined my curls so I just had these weird straight-ish bleached streaks in my hair and I HATED it. Cut it into a pixie and felt so much better, it's so satisfying to get rid of all that damaged hair. :)
