Your product and knowledge base is impressive. I admire your honesty. Props on the professionalism of this post's content; your vlog is well presented, clear and concise in delivery and detail. I wore and still wear high end synthetic fibre unit I used to secure with tape, removing the unit at night. Now I use a full cap, hand-tied acrylic unit with fibres matching my bio hair/beard - colour #60, grey/white. The full cap hand-tied unit and my head are a near perfect match in size - so, I don't have to secure the unit in any way and if I chose, I could easily wear the wig 24/7. Though I do remove it at night. Hair loss is extremely distressing and like electronics, you get what you pay for. I lost my hair 12-years ago and during the initial few years thereafter before arriving at a solution that works for me, I explored the landmine that is the hair-replacement industry with it's myriad solutions. If a glue and tape-based system is the bomb for you and others I am okay with that however, I think hygiene is the big thing with all wearable hair solutions not only glue-on bases. Your advice about 2-week wearings is absolutely on point - any longer and problems happen. Success and thank you for a no bullshit, easily understood and intelligently crafted alternative for baldness.

Having to go through that process every two weeks is just too much. I’ve watched two of your videos because I saw some celebrity talking about how he doesn’t really have hair and what he goes through to make it look like he does. I decided to check out KZread clips to see what go through wearing fake hair. I’ve learned that the last thing I want to do every two weeks is remove a hair piece, trim and prep for a replacement, and then replace the hair piece. I’m bald and proud of it,

Hi Curtis your videos is really good and helped me a lot how to take the first step in this world, I wear a hair piece for one month and I bought in top lace as your recommendation and it is really amazing so natural, I have other in French lace and to be sincere the Manteniment of French lace is easier than Swiss lace, I can say both have good things. Now I am wearing the Swiss lace and it is like my own hair. I usually redo my system each wk once I go three or four times at the Gym but I can see it reduces the hair pieces life. I will try to wait a little bit more. Keep posting these amazing videos and I am sorry to my bad English cheers from Spain

Wish I'd seen this video before I got my system. I'd always believed the marketing and believed I could bond once a month. Once a week if I'm lucky, I have now accepted that I'll have to do it every 5-7 days. Nice to know this isn't unusual.

Hi I use mono, French and poly type hair systems. I use dual type mono and poly together when in Asia. I stopped using white glue and only tape. Even the thin skin type lasted more than 7 months with tape. I remove the tape carefully every single time and no problem at all. I replaced the tape and clean my scalp every 7 to 10 days.

Had my first install two weeks ago tomorrow. I have .3 poly and I noticed after week one the front and sides needed touch ups as it was lifting and started to look dirty . Now I noticed the back is lifting from sleeping and chilling on the couch incorrectly. I will be tackling half my head tomorrow as I’m afraid to take it all off at once without some sort of half ass practice. Wish me luck. Also, after 2 weeks I do notice the itch level increased too. The climate here is 30/40s F and I’m not sweating at all. I’m sure this summer this system won’t last more than 10days. Also I do not have oily skin. Good luck everyone. It can get a bit annoying always worrying about the hair not sticking. Before I worried about ppl asking why I wear my hat so much now I’m the one looking at my head more than ever

Few ideas for future content Curtis... Custom system vs stock, changing the specs of your system as you age, Custom system options - Temple flaps (how to create a template for them, how to measure/blend grays, how to decide on density for the temples), overall gray percentage and specifying region density for a custom piece, mixed bases for the custom piece (thinskin temples, french lace top, etc). Advanced topics like moving from a blended system to a full cap. Additionally you could also start ordering from several online providers and dive into the quality and consistency of the products. I would think that if someone starts out with a stock system they will eventually move on to a more custom system. Anyway, just a few more ideas for you to mull over for video content. :) Keep up the good work.

I noticed it shifted after the cut off no one noticed but me.. My hair in underneath was pretty long.the head wasn’t irritated or raw just wiggly where the Unit was. Is that normal. Should i take a day from work next time where a hat and then reapply?

Hello! I applied a system to a client using extra oily Capibond adhesive. He ended up sweating a lot and the front peeled up by the next day. I cleaned with alcohol the front and reapplied glue, making sure he didn’t get it wet and sweat for 24hours. He washed it, after the 24 hours (with the correct shampoo) and the whole thing came off! What the hell is going on? I am trained on how to apply, etc so I don’t think it’s application (3 thin layers). He does drink a lot. Could the alcohol coming out in sweat detach the glue? The reason I ask is that I had one other client that wore tape extensions and they fell out immediately-she drank straight vodka. I have never had this happen except in the two cases above. Thoughts? I am also getting the Walker Extreme Sport primer you suggested, but wonder if the above hairpiece client is even a good candidate if the extra strength adhesive came out so fast!

HairExperience I fucked up. All I watched your videos and I know it’s really helpful but I’m so stupid and impatient. I shave my hair using 9mm cap and had my template followed I did put this clear walker bond on still have a few inch hair and it dried immediately having thought that’s good to go I placed my system on but it looks so bad. Took me another day to retake it but I still feel not satisfied because the front is too obvious even though I’m using a thin PU and not to mention I sweat damn hard and it looks white on the front so I ended up shaving my hair all and decided to stop. Still ECQ lockdown not salon open and thought I could do it or I just felt like I used the wrong bond it’s too sticky it ruined the brush. Anyways my bad.

HairExperience I think glue shorten the life span of the system. notice every time you take off the system and see so many hair are stuck together to your scalp, to the comb and to the system itself, not to mentioned it stinks, very itchy and very messy and you needed so much chemical trying to take all off. all these chemicals specially coming from the glue are really bad for the system imo.

I was introduced to the hairpiece concept yesterday by a very well known salon owner. He has people on TV he does this for and it's beyond convincing. According to him it's about $3,000 a year to go through him. Schedule: Visit #1=$400: Shave head, clean head, apply hair piece, cut& Style. Visit #2 after two weeks=$100. Removes, cleans, touches up restyle, makes sure all is well. Visit #3 after 1 month=$100. Removes, Cleans, touches up and restyles, make sure all is well. Visit #4 Potentially replaces hair piece and restarts process depending on how well it is doing. I really want to do this to start because I'm scared to death of me doing something wrong with my first try. Any thoughts would help!

I rather be bold and save for my hair transplant, at least if it works it will be my true hair.

So lets say your transplant works perfect. Which is about 80% of all cases require a second or third treatment. Now you are taking Finasteride. HairExperience I have not idea where you are taking those facts, you are absolutely deluded, and it seems you are totally clueless about hair transplant. First, I have not clue where you get about that you need second or third transplant, as a matter of fact a very close friend of mine had a hair transplant 3 years ago ( single one) and he looks great and DOES NOT need a 2nd or 3rd hair transplant, I have not idea where you getting that from, Also I have not idea where you getting you need to take finasteride thats absolutely misleading and false, as a matter of fact clinics do recommend to keep taking minoxidil if you already are taking it ( Not to avoid the hair transplant to fall, but to maintain and keep healthy your other hair, rogain does not have sexual or erectile side effects) plus thats not a must, my friend does not take medication what so ever. Only idiots take finasteride and the hair that you get implanted is from A healthy donor area, meaning that hair in most cases wont fall at all, DOES NOT required medication. You look ridiculous using a wig, gad damm, you are obviously deluded,

HairExperience Hey man, I'm new to your channel. I tried the hair systems thru Hair Club, did not have a good experience as far as the systems. The hair was way to thick, and the pieces I had didn't look like it was growing out of my own scalp. Plus spent a small fortune for less than a quality product. I may try again, may need to recoup for a bit financially b4 I embark on another place to find a system. Got a question for ya, what if u like wearing your hair long, lets say shoulder length or even down to mid back. I'm a hippie at heart lol. What do u do with your own hair on the sides and back, do u let that grow long to the desired length that you're looking for? Everyone or every guy that has a system I see, wears their hair short, what do u need to do if you're a guy and u want to wear your hair long?
