I laughed when all the dogs appeared to get set off by the flashlight around 13:20 into the video. These reviews are thorough and entertaining all at the same time.

Amazing easy explanations of the instructions for anduril. Thanks for doing that. It helps a lot since the instruction inserts of an anduril torch are kind of hard to understand if your not into patterned click codes..entering modes. Cheers Lumenati.

Just received mine today. Got it in silver. Have a crap load of flashlights like other flashoholics including the Acebeam k75. Took it with me to walk my dogs and I find it to be pretty impressive. UPDATE: 2-7-21 But I don’t know if it’s really all that impressive as it should probably be. Using 3 Samsung 40T’s flat tops and I know others have said to use the button top version but would it really make that much more of a difference??

Another great report. Not for me but I've wanted to see multiple sbt90.2's. For now I'm ok with my FT03S and your video reminded me why I love my MF01S so much too. On another note I just pre-ordered the Astrolux FT02S (4x XHP 50.2, 5700k). I don't usually rush in but hey... looks like a bigger brother to the EC03, which impressed me but the beam pattern looks weird from the ONE image I've seen 🤦‍♂️

I've never had the opportunity to compare NW (6000k) torches in fog (all else equal) . I guess throwers would make sense as flooders would scatter a lot more. The other day I used a red filter when slightly misty and visibly improved due to less scattering at this wavelength, I've always wanted an amber/ yellow one but can't source it for my Klarus xt11gt (my favourite tactical that goes most places with me)...Actually, maybe the Sofirn IF25 would make for a great demo in foggy conditions. Love that torch!

Fantastic review, as always. It might be my imagination, but to me, the Haikelite looked like it lost brightness after around 5 seconds of turbo switch on? Look at 10:42 and then at 10:46 - 10:47 where did all the light go?

Good spot, I didn't notice whilst filming as I was looking down the beam. It was usually around 20 secs (measured indoors!) but it deffo looks quicker that time and this was after I'd raised the thermal limit 😕

Great review. May I ask how it compares to the Imalent R60C ? Which one has more floody characteristics ? I know both are more throwers by nature.

My last 4 IMALENT's have had faults so I'm not qualified to speculate.

I think I’d prefer the Astralux MF01S because of the wider beam (11:46), more lumen and a much lower price.

i agree but i feel modern torches should have onboard charging and i just like to use 26650 and 21700 batteries. but i do like the flood more than reach. also, a led on the power button makes finding the torch easier in the dark which for me is a requirement.

Go for the MF01S if you have to choose. It's compact and a beautiful piece of tech. I really love it, also, it works with both button and flat-top, just remove the silly white plastic rings on + poles to use with flat top.

@@gpaull2 yes but no onboard charging and 18650 batteries :-( i have a few astrolux torches and very impressed with them all. really love the lighted switch and USB charging on them. just want a torch like this but able to hold the turbo for a useful amount of time, the search goes on :-) only got into flashlights by looking for a suitable one for a family member...sort of got a little out of hand!!! but i may have to add the mf01s to the stable.

Hi Matt. Excellent video. I thought that all of the flashlights did very well, when price and value are considered. I particularly liked the MF01S from Astrolux. I'd say it has more lumins tbh, I know the Hakelite says it's 18000 to the MF02s V2's 15000, but the MF02s V2 looked to actually reach and hold it's peak whereas the Hakelite dropped off to I'm guessing around 5000 in about four seconds multiple times.

@@user-uq2vr7bq9g ну, судя по весу 1.1 кг долговременно он может светить с яркостью не более 5500 люмен, а посчитать примерно мощность/ёмкость аккумуляторов уже реально самостоятельно. Тем более, что у всех аккумуляторы разные.

It looks like the hk90 fades fast, the astrolux mf02s looks as bright after the hk90 is on for 10 seconds. Would this be an accurate estimate? Thanks for the comparisons.

HK90 steps down crazy fast even after calibration and thermal limit raising. I think it is buggy though the SBT90 never seem to get much runtime on any light.

Looks like great light, but i would say astrolux MF02S V2 looks like much better option as with Haikelite i was expecting huge spill but looks like is very similar to Astrolux that has better run times most likely and is cheaper. Again great review, acebeam L18 soon?

Geez this thing sucks... It can't seem to hold turbo for much more than five seconds. Excellent example of a light boasting a theoretical max brightness far beyond what it can reasonably hold.

You can program it to hold more output. I programmed it to hold to 60c internally which made a slight difference but I'll try 75c

You are correct. It's not really a good performer after the first 5 seconds. I tested it and within 40 seconds it drops from about 17,000 lumens to 1,500 lumens.

@@FLASHAHOLIC_TV hi, yes, I tested it with the temp set to 60 degrees. The first drop are the same, but afterwards it does make a difference, but not a major difference. If you want I can send you the runtime graphs. Btw. I like the video! Keep it up!

I have a question if anyone can help... I have a Manker MC13 with a 18350 type c rechargeable cell when not in use for long periods of time is it okay to leave the battery in or should I remove it? Thanks in Advance!

Just twist the body from the head slight to break the connection. I usually leave lights 3 months before checking voltage levels, theres only a few lights that will drain a battery in that time.
