Considering buying it, the coupon is still active - but i looked into a few other high lumen lights with a similar pricing. I am surprised that most lights had a sustainable output around 1-2k lumens, seems incredibly low. Which light has the highest sustainable output for less than 200US?

Sorry, I really don't have the time, I have 8+ reviews to finish alongside running a flashlight company. You need to know that the Astrolux EC06 is no longer available and was capable of 26K+ lumens. The Sofirn Q8 Plus is not the same driver as the EC06, at least not the same components, since it's only able to output around 16K. I have the EC06, not the Q8 Plus, so it would only be a helpful comparison if you own the EC06 and not the Q8 Plus.

They come with lishen cells, you could try solder blob / magnet samsung 40Ts, the light needs really high drain unprotected button tops, which are pretty rare

Flat baterry or button baterry, what is best for this flashlight. I will buy this flash

Requires button top or it won't work. I suggest purchasing this with batteries from Nealsgadgets

If you use hogh drain batteries for this flashlight isnt it possible that it would closely get its 60000 lumens output?have you tried it sir? Please give feedback 🙏

The batteries that were included are rated at 60A, so I don't have anything else that will provide a higher output.

It measured close to the rated range so I doubt that 60,000 lumens was a true rating.

Yeah, I thought about it, but I wanted the highest possible output for the drone comparisons. Neal only sent it to me because he knew I'd use the drone, so I wanted it to look the best. I feel very lucky to have brands send these high output models for that reason, being a low sub channel. Absolutely crazy that I got an SR16 & SR32 free and now this HK08!.

@@iRmazz96 yeah, it would be quite a bit less. Most LEDs produce blue light and so a layer of yellow phosphor is added to convert it to white light. The warmer the cct, the thicker the phosphor is, resulting in less light.

@@watt1797 I have only tried with button top cells. Another person did mention they used magnets or you can remove the plastic around each terminal to use flat tops.

99% of brands are made in China, so yes, it's made in China. You wouldn't be paying this low price if it was made in the USA.
