몸쪽으로 파고드는 공이 약점이었는데 이번시즌 홈런을 보면 그가 지난 겨울 얼마나 많은 노력을 했는지 알 수 있다. 우타자가 왼손투수 슬라이더와 오른손 투수 투심이나 싱커를 왼쪽으로 당겨서 홈런만드는 건 아무나 할 수 있는 게 아님.
