Ha-Seong Kim is as fun to watch as Shohei Otani, and has the most beautiful right-handed swing I've seen in a long time. I feel quite old knowing he's younger than me. Lol.

Might as well riot right now. Padres won't be able to sign him. Kim's value has grown lot higher while his trade value diminishes as he gets closer to free agency. So every team will be eyeing him. Padres spent all their money on Tatis, Machado, Darvish, Bogaerts, and Musgrove. Padres can't afford Kim. They should've extended Kim instead of Cronenworth and Kim was lot cheaper to extend back in end of 2022, early 2023. Kim would've easily signed Cronenworth's contract. Now, Kim is more valuable than Cronenworth and he will seek high contract. Since Kim is not under Boras, MANY teams will want to compete to sign him. So good luck trying to keep him.

Guarentee he will become an LA Dodger. Padres can't afford him. LA has a huge Korean population. It's a no brainer.

@@Passions I doubt it. As a Dodgers fan, I would love to, especially when we are desperately in need for a shortstop that we have to bring in Mookie Betts from outfield to play shortstop. Our 3rd baseman Muncy sucks ass now. So many of his fielding errors costed us. Ha Seong Kim is perfect fit not just to the Dodgers but to every other team. But Dodgers have spent over 1.3 bil just this past offseason. Unless Kim chooses to do deferred payment, which I highly doubt because the dude actually NEEDS money, Dodgers wont afford him due to high luxury tax they have. Kim is not gonna be cheap. He is easily gonna seek 150+ mil if he does well how he did last season. I would wish he comes to the Dodgers just so that I can see how all the saltiness and butthurt behavior from the Padres fans. But reality is, he wont be because his value is up there.

Kim going have a big year. Dude is just getting better and better. Big contract as FA for SD mvp and heart and soul of team.

Kim's agent is not Boras. And Boras is not a good agent to have anymore. Lot of teams are not willing to work with Boras because he's known for overpricing his players and jipping off teams. Did you not see how Snell, Bellinger, Montgomery, all had to sign short term deals? None of them got over 100 mil contract. Kim on the other hand, will seek out over 100 million dollar contract. Only one who got a 100 million dollar contract under Boras was Kim's friend Lee Jung Hoo who signed $113 million 6 year contract. So clearly, Kim is going to want more than that.

I'm a life long Giants fan too and I'm hoping we can grab this kid if San Diego decides not to re-sign him (they'd be crazy not to). What he brings to the club is nothing short of special and we can really use him. GO GIANTS!!!

I believe Kim has a base salary of about $7 million for this year. The Padres should pull a Dodgers and defer next year's salary. By 2026, Hosmer's $12 million dollar contract will come off the books and Padres could offer him a 15 to 20 million dollar AAV contract to begin in 2026. Maybe the Padres could offer him a 4 year $80 million with player options? 4 year because Leo DeVries should be ready by the time Kim's contract is up.

Moving a 200m+, to 2B says it all about this kids. His pay day is coming, either SP or other teams, he will be paid.

I live in Detroit but I was born and raised in SD, I was at all three games this year when SD played in Detroit and I MADE THE CUT IN THE VIDEO😂
