Gyroscopic Stabilisation...how to use gyro data on any DSLR, Mirrorless, GoPro/(Reelsteady)

Stabilise Footage on any camera using gyro data. Recorded with either an external device such as SteadXp or internally.
I use Reelsteady to stabilised my footage on my gopro hero cameras as gopro record gyro data into their metadata, watch this video to find out more.

That gyro data logger was exactly what I was looking for! Gonna make some good use of it on my d7000 and GoPro hero 3+ Thanks!

Can this apply lens corrections before the stabilisation? As the centre of the distortion (e.g. the centre of the sensor) wouldn't be in the centre of the final frame the correction would have to be done first. Additionally, If the anamorphic add on is used on the 9 or 10 then this needs to be desqueezed before any rotation is applied.

Hi, I'll have to come back to you on that because I'm not sure but at the moment I think making alterations to the video will remove gyro data (I think), I'll run some tests and come back to you on that mainly because I apply the stabilisation to my videos before I do any further edits to them. & It make sense to desqueeze your video before applying stabilisation to your video because of the cropping the accurs in the process.
