I don't know who those 62 people who gave this a thumbs down are???... but they obviously don't recognize comedy greatness!... This was a true comedy genius at work.

A great Italian Indian. Bravissimo Signore Marks. A paisan from Philadelphia. A wonderful and underrated talent !

I have watched this about 20 times in the last week Guy Marks was the best !

When Guy, who himself was an Italian-American (like Dean) started speaking Italian in the voice of the Indian chief, Dean went into 3rd gear of hysterical laughter - Seeing Dean laughing so heartily at these roasts is both heartwarming and filled with pathos, in retrospect, appreciating the tragedy that Dean had to endure with the shocking death of his son Dino - may they both rest in peace

Comic Brilliance.. One of the funniest bits I have ever seen. Just watch Dean and Don break up uncontrollably. Guy Marks was a great and under appreciated comedian.

Watching Guy Marks do this routine cracked me up. What a talent! An Indian Chief that spoke perfect Italian. That was perfect. 👍

Just about split my sides whe he spoke as Bogey speaking Native American . What a talented man. Handsome too.

Whenever I want a hearty laugh, I see this segment. I laugh so hard, I tear up. What a talent!

Always loved the Dean Martin Roasts, this classic Guy Marx bit was my alltime favorite....thats just......dandy!

Watching Don Rickles, Dean and Michael Landon laughing so hard is a testiment to how funny Guy really was...a classic!

I've watched all these roasts and never saw Dean and Don laugh so hard, Guy was a genius! Cracks me up every time, thanks for the post.

This is when there was class in Hollywood...! Nothing can or ever will touch this.

What a gifted man Guy Marks was and what really breaks me up is to see old Dean and Don in convulsions of laughter...magic is the only word for this!

Guy Marks did the absolute best Gary Cooper impression I've ever heard. Genius!

Guy Marks gave a show of talent and interpretation. Humphrey Bogart, Gary Cooper and Robert Mitchum including the Indian Chief in a simply magnificent way. Priceless to see the other stars laughing uncontrollably. And even made a ''Everybody loves somebody" by Dean Martin in Indian language. Embraces from Brazil.

Sitting here crying with laughter, possibly the best roast I've ever seen!

Guy Marks in this was sensational. A vastly underrated comedian.

These roasts were the best...... Guy Mark's routine is just as funny today. It's too bad political correctness is now what it is.

If anyone can make Don Rickles laugh that hard....you're funny.....period

He always starts chewing before the Cooper impression. It's incredible.

I can see my mom and dad (now deceased) watching this back then and laughing their butts off!

Dean almost died laughing and it in turn almost killed me with laughter.

If you understand Italian you laughed even more like Dean did when he translated "there are no towels in the men's room".

Even back on the Joey Bishop Show, Guy Marks was an explosion of talent just waiting to be unleashed.

Guy Marks...brilliant, smooth, classy and completely under-appreciated stand up comedian of the golden age. When he did Bogart talking in the Indian dialect I thought Dino and Rickles were going to burst a blood vessel. Like Groucho Marx, these guys appreciated comedians who were just as funny, if not funnier, than they were. The true sign of legends who really loved each other.

I had Guy on my radio show in NJ, years ago and he was so kind to let me do some voices with him. What a treat!!

I just found out that Guy Marks impersonation of Robert Mitchums "smoke the pipe".was reference to Mitchums marijuana bust years ago whe he was an actor...Either way,Guy Marks was hysterical!!!!!!

I thought Foster Brooks roasting of Rickles was the funniest roast until I saw this one. Hilarious!!

he was my uncle, one time when we were living in Denver he came to pick up my mon and dad to see his show with Sammy Davis Jr. at the Temple Buell Theater in Denver , I walked out to the limo and inside was Sammy, his blonde girlfriend and that huge rock Davis had on his finger, I look at his eyes and didn't know which one to look at because his lazy eye was looking of to outer space.I remember Sammy had some horrible mens cologne on. I was 13 yrs old. He loved to eat at this real old Italian resuraunt in Denver, the owners loved him, he wold do his impressions there also.

Considered politically incorrect today, Marks absolutely brought down the house with this off-the-wall and hilarious performance. No one with a brain or a shred of decency would take anything away from the Native American people because of it. It saddens me that we’ve sacrificed our sense of humor for the sole purpose of not running the risk of disparaging an ethnic, religious or any other segment of society.When we laugh at ourselves, the world is a brighter place. It has the potential to bring us closer together than just jerking ourselves off in a huge Kumbaya circle.

Your uncle was hallarious! One of the best! His impressions were "spot on!" The first time my father and I saw this bit, we were in stitches, just like Dean and Don! Classic! Comedians like your uncle are greatly missed!

I have watched a lot of these old roast clips and I got to say I have never seen Dean Martin laughed so hard! 😆

I haven't seen Dean Martin laugh that hard since the drunk pilot episode on his variety show with Foster Brooks.

I watched this so many times on the VHS tape I have of the Michael Landon roast. Brilliance personified.

His italian is actually very good I'm impressed 👌

He was Hilarious. When he broke into Humphrey Bogart speaking Navajo, I had to stop the video. LOL! ROFL!! Very creative and funny.

Dean got a taste of his very own medicine.( I say this in a very good positive way) The many laughs he and Jerry gave people throughout the years, came and hit him all at once. Many people don't know that Dean's first language was Italian and not English (spoken with a Abruzzi accent). When Mario Scarpa,( Guy Mark) where his roots are from Naples Italy , which is not really that far from Abruzzi, where Dean would understand everything; made it more special and even funnier for him whenever Guy Marks would throw in a little Italian here and there, another Italian guest sitting at the roast was Ernest borgnine.

Yep, in those days they used something called "talent" to elicit a laugh. Those days are gone.

If that is not the absolute funniest bits I ever saw, it was the subtleties of the bit that was hilarious.

Those roasts were hilarious. I remember watching every one when they came on. I'm sure today there would be so much hate mail, they would be banned. Wait, they were!

This Is The Single most funny Bit EVER in TV History. Just wish they would clean up the graphics & audio so it's crystal clear. They could put this in the Smithsonian Institute it's so CLASSIC and Cherished!

Just saw an episode Guy guest starred on, the Dick Van Dyke Show. Then searched for this post. What a talented man. I’m watching the DVD Show, now as an older man. It’s so wholesome to see that show, given that it’s right when I was born, mid 60s.

I recorded this when it first came out on a cassette player. I later would play it when I'd drive to Florida. It kept me going for a lotta miles on the car's cassette player.
