@@polobaluyut6816 i wish Violet padded her hips just a bit. Jason Dardo has sexy broad shoulders. However, if you look at Violet's shoulder to hip ratio, it's not always balanced. The waist training does give Violet an hourglass sillhouette, if you look at 'only' the chest to hip sillhouette. I'm a cis-woman. My shoulder circumference is the exact same measurement as the fullest part of my hips. My waist is 10.5 inches smaller both ways. However my bust is 5.5 inches smaller than my hips/shoulderd. So using the chest to hip ratio I'm very pear-shaped, but shoulder to hip ratio wise, i'm more balanced. Now, I understand men and women have very different figures. However, most drag queens (especially Violet) pad, waist-train and, dress to give the illusion of a more feminine figure. Violet padding just a bit on hips (hip dips) would really take her next level.

The aesthetic dichotomy is crazy but also polar opposite in a beautiful and fantastic way

I love Kim’s makeup lately very light and whimsical.

Guo Pei's work is astonishing!! Asian here, so I live for the modern, Chinese and avant garde aspects of her work. I hope her work is worn so much more-it's so iconic and theatrical. Also, imagine a fantasy movie with Guo Pei's pieces...

@@anarey-oktay2683 Fashion is art, the democratization of fashion and other forms of art is particularly apparent in the US, you end up with "artists" that make a lot of money marketing themselves under the guise of fashion, and most people don't understand the difference. Virgil Abloh puts his name on an IKEA table and charges twice as much for it, that is marketing. Labels are about lifestyle marketing, why the US didn't get Raf Simons at Calvin Klein, he wasn't selling them on the superiority of white suburbia, something that just about every other ready to wear label does.

There was an exhibit in a museum in Southern California last year. Forty full Guo Pei outfits, including head pieces and shoes. They are iconic works from different seasons. I went three times. Amazing.

That giant face of Kero on Kimchi's dress is my life now.

I love their banter. They’re both shady beauty queens so it’s no surprise that they have this natural unforced connection. ❤️

JD MJ except they have no idea what they’re saying. This collection ... you HAD to be there, it was THE show of all HC. There has never been such a buzz for a particular member of the CSHC’s shows - and a guest member who is also the first Asian Couture Designer EVER to be accepted at that. This is the presentation of some of the most artistic, timeconsuming and difficult work in all of fashion over the past decade and you just sit there and you’re like ‘I like how it thpahkles, Kim K could have worn this!’ NO. NO!

@@MFKZread683 an old comment, but you sound like you only skimmed the video. there are several instances in which they openly admire the work that guo pei puts into her work. violet even says that she thinks that guo pei's work is one of the true examples of avant garde fashion. something that kim chi also agrees with. the funny thing about sitting in a comment section and chatting about how people don't know a thing and then proceeding to be condescending, is that, often, you're the one that sounds they know zero percent of what they are talking about.

The reason that was the closing look is because traditionally, fashions shows always closed with a wedding dress.

I knew Kim was gonna be the next guest. I love how violet is sharing her platform with the queens with great eye for fashion.

There was an exhibition of 40 of her full outfits from past seasons (including headpieces and shoes) in a museum in Southern California. It was amazing. They also had a huge screen showing one of her runway shows. All the models had to walk very slowly.

Im craving for kim in hamtaro drag now. She leaves me impatient and ecxited to see the next look.

Hey Violet Hey Kim Chi! To answer your question whether Guo Pei does ready to wear, she does. If you watch the documentary Yellow is Forbidden directed by Pietra Bretkelly documenting Guo Pei's work in the year 2017, you will see that she has more wearable clothes for exclusive clientale. Everything is tailor-made and of course the clients are all very rich women like plastic surgeons and businesswomen and wives of rich people. They come to her atelier and she presents clothes to them (Guo Pei wants to recreate the experience of Dior in the past) and then they choose pieces and have them tailor-made.

Head’s up- neck rings aren’t just used in some African cultures, they’re also used by women in some cultures in Burma.

she has a "club" of 400 clients. completely made to measure and she will get to know you and design for you. all the stuff on the runway is never sold but you can rent it. she also does not dress people for events and did not want Rihanna to wear her dress because she did not know who she was lol, also she thought that dress was cursed because the model who wore it could not walk in it and had to be carried off. she has a travelling gallery show you should definitely check out its stunning.

Violet's looks are ALWAYS on point. A true winner. Lawd.

i got the chance to see the gown rihanna wore and a bunch of her other work in person at a gallery, including the china plate dress. the amount of detail in the beading and embroidery was so stunning it was almost overwhelming. her stuff was only on one floor but it took me a good couple hours to take it all in
