They had attempts with death. Nikki six and Slash did. Nikki Six overdosed on heroin, and Slash injected cocaine into his blood stream.

With the amount of drugs they did back then, and then bulls**t like this where their pilots were s**t-faced drunk, it's amazing none of them are dead. Lots of rock star and musicians have died doing lot less. I just hope they all truly grasp and appreciate how lucky they are.

Slash los pulse and heaetbeat in a tour but revived and adler has several heart attacks and a stroke, but they survived

The concept of flying a plane is quite stressful. Its not surprising the rate of "piloting while drunk".
