🎵 Guns N Roses Mr. Brownstone Reaction
Thanks for checking out our Guns N Roses reaction. Mr Brownstone is an interesting song. It's much different than a lot of modern day songs about similar things.

Anyone that has struggled with addiction these lyrics hit home. During my worst days these lyrics would bring me to tears because they are so true. And Brad you are correct, ANY addiction at 1st seems great, then it is HORRIBLE, and can ruin your life,

Spot on and that is a very important point! one MTV video director said he was producing this horrible Pretty Boy Floyd cover song- they were all wearing white suits and had fans blowing their hair around and he was like; This SUCKS! What has happened to Metal R&R? Then GnR released AFD. The amazing thing is the songs are almost all single takes done at 2-4 AM! Crazy!

My favorite musical intro ever. This album changed music. It took things to another level just before grunge hit, and still amazes people. Axel's ability to change the way his voice sounds along with Slash's insane ability was something we had not heard before. Every one of these songs on this album was so different, and so good.

Love your reactions guys. Always look forward to your next one and it’s good you both keep an open mind. I’m a big GnR fan and on the flipside I’m a huge Wu Tang fan. I think you should check out Slash and Miles Kennedy’s “Anastasia”. That tune is just rocking. Slash’s work on it gives me goosebumps every time I listen to it. You guys might not see this bc of the plethora of comments. Great reactions by the way! I love seeing people discover new music. I've been on a Guns n Roses kick lately, never really listened much before except for hits (before this I was on a Home Free kick, big genre change haha). Anyway, here's some suggestions for GnR songs. "Patience" (slower acoustic, but still possibly my favorite song), "My Michelle", "Coma" (I believe Slash is mainly responsible for the music and Axl wrote the lyrics about an actual time he was in a coma, could be wrong though), "It's So Easy" (Axl's voice sounds much different on this one), "I Used to Love Her" (good live version on Live at Late Night, or something like that), "Knocking on Heaven's Door" (live at the Ritz 1988), or pretty much anything from the Ritz 1988 (I do prefer their 80s performances I have to say, just like the rawness and energy better). I have more, but I'll stop for now haha.
102K subs and growing!!!
