"You're Crazy" by GnR is also a proper Un-Valentines song (either version is good, one from the original album is all electric and the second off "Lies" is all acoustic, both are awesome)

The Tier1 of all Un-Valentines song is "You Ain't The First"

I had to put my dog down, couldn’t stop crying. Vet staff took my keys until I could drive. I had to then go pick up my daughter from school, so I prayed for strength and something else to think about. Got in my car, and this song immediately came on the radio. God has a sense of humor.

I haven't heard this song in a lot of years now. Great choice guys

It's an amazing song. I don't why people get so hung up on certain words being in songs when they tolerate the same words being used in movies. A song is just another way to tell story. It doesn't mean the band supports the ideas. It's just a song.

Rocket Queen is the song you were trying to remember. The girl was the drummers girlfriend with Axl. She was emotionally messed up from that for many years.

FYI: This song was writen about a dog that a member of the band once had. Also this is the accoustic version of this song which was released on the Lies album

@@WyattsWildNature I mean, the Lies EP's first half of the Live like a Suicide EP was very raw and kind of cool to hear them before Appetite blew them up. The new/Acoustic side was a cool collection of tunes showing they could do good acoustic music. I actually liked it.

As much as I love Appetite...Lies still gets more air-time in my house.

Another great songs on this album is one in a million. This is pure G&R at the beginning of the rocket launch that shot their career to super stardom, the live performances on side one is just them having fun and tearing it up.

One in a Million is one that will blow you away..

I enjoy your videos. Thanks for taking my mind off the world for a little while. Lex’s energy is great!

You guys should check out Locomotive by GNR. Maybe their most underrated song

This is from "G&R Lies", acoustic album they made in a couple of days. It's great! Try "Patience".

I read in an artical about 20 years ago that the song is actually about his dog that was dying of illness and was in pain. He put the dog down himself. The lyrics were written that way to mask it was about his dog.

My friends had this as their first dance song at their wedding. Thirty years later they are still married and above ground.

Oh man, this brought back memories of playing in bars back in the day. This was one of my favorite songs to sing.

that was the excuse because this caused all kinds of issues with the women's rights groups.

I cant believe GNR is going to be touring again. I saw Slash on Kimmel promoting his album, he said when he gets done with his shows he will go straight into practice with Guns and Roses for their up and coming shows.

This was one of very 2 controversial songs off of their "Lies, Lies, Lies" album. The other one is "One In A Million" which is the one that caused the most controversy between the 2.

Yeah, One in a Million is not an easy song to take in. It's maybe the ugliest, angriest song of theirs. The recording of You're Crazy off this record is definitely worth your time. So groovy.

Yeah, I'm still waiting for the One In A Million reaction. I don't see it happening. The funny element around that song is an interview with Slash, whose mother of course is black. The interviewer asked what he thought when the N line came in and Slash replied "yeah, it was disconcerting". I found it hilarious that he was so collegial about it and chose "disconcerting". Slash is a classy guy.

I used to work for these vietnamese guys in Montana 2006-07 and one of them hated his wife. This song came on the radio one day at work and Tai looks at my and goes "Jah, this is a very good song!" One of my favorite moments in my lif🤣🤣

My band used to play this at the end of the night just before closing. We found this was such a great way to end the set .... mostly drunk people who could totally relate to the words. For some reason, no matter who was there, they knew this song. Good times.

They played this early in the show when I saw them live in 2016, it was perfect, easy going vibe, while people were still filling up.the stadium . I hopped off the LRT train & instantly realized how loud the show was gonna be , outdoor stadium , excellent acoustics & mixed just right, too. It was a helluva party . G n R debuted their cover of Campbell s " Wichita lineman " at that show .

If I recall, when asked about this song, BACK in the day. Axl said, it was a song about his dog. 🐶
