You need a better directional microphone meant for this type of work, as opposed to one meant for stage. The variation in volume as you move the mic around is a bit maddening.

I have one, was just being lazy that day,
He had a working machine years ago, then started redesigning it to be "perfect". He's the proverbial artist who's never satisfied and will be perpetually "refining" because of some perceived flaw - all the while begging viewers for funds to continue his work.
